The food was exceptional, but the service left much to be desired. For a dine-in dinner, I found the price per person to be around £20–30. I would rate the food a solid 5, while the service only gets a 2. As for the atmosphere, I would give it a 3.

A lovely setting with reasonable food. Friendly helpful staff. A window table. Pizzas have probably improved since the last visit. Toilets spotless clean. Decent Guinness. We've been visiting Portstewart for many years, but this was our first time at Amici. We were pleased with the attentive service, along with the high-quality food and wine. It was a nice surprise to see our friend Martin there with his family celebrating his birthday. The portions were generous, and the food was quite rich—especially the salmon pasta with lemon sauce that I had. There were plenty of options on the menu, but unfortunately, we couldn't manage to squeeze in one of the beautifully presented desserts. As for dietary considerations, there was a small but thoughtfully curated vegan menu, and the waiter and chef were very helpful in providing dairy-free alternatives for us.
