"gorgeous birthday gift frame, spatious and luxurious phany room, with jacuzzi on the terrace. some details that can be improved, that we found damage to this type of standing: the map to open the door of our room no longer worked, it can happen, but we were suggested to let our door open with our business inside while we would go to eat. We were very surprised that we could make such a proposal. We obviously closed the door and picked up the keys later in the evening without congestion. Second, the greeting booklet in the phany room was the welcome booklet of another room. They're details, but it's too bad for this kind of place. We had an unforgettable evening, dinner was simply delicious with an impeccable service, and breakfast in the room was perfect. I highly recommend, quality/price ratio unbeatable elsewhere."

excellent family lunch this day. the reception is warm, the dishes very good and very beautiful. only bemol: the bread that was not good, and the child's menu saw again; not having an entrance we expected to a more tasty and hearty dish, the accompaniment was not appreciated by our children.

warm welcome. but disappointed by the menu in euros. Very light. all dishes are on a vegetable cake, so the flavors are mixed, we don't know what we eat. Considering the quantity, we wonder if it's not a mouth that's soothing...expresso to and the elongated coffee makes the water expensive. I'm not talking about the price of drinks because there's a personal choice.

dinner at two Saturday night post st valentine for a first time, we were pleasantly surprised by this address. very good reception pleasant setting. the dishes and amuses mouths proved excellent, beautiful proposition in the wine card. mention more for pavlova. on the other hand, a very big disappointment for bread which is unfortunately not at all in phase with the culinary proposal. change the supplier as soon as possible!!!! The chateau has undergone recent clever refurbishment including a contemporary extension to the front of the property for the dining area. We didn’t take our dog but the staff suggested that he would have been welcomed. Grounds are beautiful and they have some rooms if you wish to stay. It’s a lot nicer than anywhere we’ve ever been to in or near Laon. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food was solid French cooking and stand out dishes were the seafood risotto and the smoked trout. Will go here again on our way down to S France.

The location was superb as was the Chateau. The pool and grounds were lovely too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot tub on the balcony was great, but needs a service to replace the controls. The restaurant food was brilliant, albeit not to my wife's liking. Cannelloni was not what she thought more like steak tartare! The accomodation is full of character, might need a lick of paint on bedroom ceilings or bathroom door needed the handle fixing which I did myself with a Leatherman. But what can you expect on such a lovely old building. We loved it and would definitely recommend!!

"we visited this local restaurant on the strength of the recommendation of our host. big mistake. it was the worst meal we've ever been served. Forget that we were driving 5.5 hours over France on the road to home. forget that it took them an hour to bring our ancestors. And that when we asked if there was a problem, in view of a neighbor family who had come after us already had received their main, said the garçon (which may not have been older than 15) it was the salat niçoise who took a long time because “it had been many different fresh ingredients”. When the food finally arrived, it was unusable. I don't mean good. I mean, they didn't feed her dog. the much anticipated fresh Niçoise salad was completely dosen. thunfisch tinted. soggy green beans. flaccid salat. the main thing was worse. they arrived surprisingly fast and heated the steam alarmingly to a dead way for the microwave in which they had been boiled. I had laughs en croute. or so I was told. it was like the signature of my man steak galette, from deep frost. both dishes were dry, the meat and fish inedible, the sauce was thrown out of a package and with sugar, the sweet in a customs of her sorry life microwave, without a milligram remaining nutritious. my man and I found ourselves out embarrassing only eating to realize that we couldn't even do that. we are not smokey eaters. we were thrilled for something simple, basic, but that was worse than the worst medium-of-nowhere pub menu we have ever eaten to brasserie. the restaurant fascinates itself as demanding, but the decor is a mix between creepy kitsch (completely with grandfather clock) and soulless “modern” it says everything. brightly colored aperitifs are offered at the arrival, which are served with fruity. none of this would have been thanks to us that we would even have abandoned the terrible service for half a decent meal, not because of the insulting bad food. the only things we ate were the frozen mini-cabattas. whatever they do, they do not go to this restaurant."
