Delicious, not pretentious, good burgers with mjammie fries! Friendly service! It's very small, it's not really a restaurant, but also not a snack-bar. I liked the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place!

Great to find a small business doing what they do well. Some might say it's a limited menu, but when the burger is this good we really could not have asked for more. Well worth finding if you're after something not French.

We went once during the festival. Our yougest daughter asked to go back to the 'most delicious burgers'. So we went back on a less croudy day and it was even better. Good home made fries, real mayonnaise. the little things that makes the difference. Ver carta

Bumped into this resto while trying to get lost in the walled city of Avignon. The owner was very accomodating. You give your order by the counter and take your drink of choice yourself from around 4 transparent refs. Burgers were served and it was cooked to perfection. After your meal, you go to the counter to pay. Very clear

We stopped in on a whim for an early dinner and so glad that we did! The burgers are excellent, and there are some good platter options for those who don't like the bun. French fries are perfectly cooked, and there is a nice selection of drinks (including some great local beers). The server was very pleasant and patient with our kids. Highly recommended!

During our time interailing we called in here one night for a burger to get a quick bite.The service was excellent and the waiter was really helpful and spoke good English.The food was good, I had a blue cheese burger and my girlfriend had a steak and frites.They have a nice little selection of beers which compliment the burgers well.Would recommend this place and go back again if I was in Avignon. We were told to avoid many of the restaurants in the centre and be wary of the inflated prices directed towards tourists. After searching a bit of the beaten track, we found this little 'fast food ' joint which offered tasty, high quality food and fast service. The meat was fantastic and of high quality. Chips crispy and flavoursome. The service was great and the man who served us was friendly and spoke English so we could make our order.

Having dinner at Chez Bodus was probably the best decision we made in Avignon. Everybody was very friendly, we got as much water as we liked and French fries with two dips for free. When we gave a rather generous tip for the excellent service and the very good food, we were told to pick anything we liked from a little snack bar on the side. I had the best burger in a long time at Chez Bodus (the Hollywood megalo, at 9,50€ the most expensive burger) and really delicious fries with a homemade sauce. Chez Bodus is mostly frequented by locals which makes for a very relaxed French atmosphere in an American looking environment.

If thinking of a good hamburger suggests MacD then one needs to learn how to get a much better one. This is a small, unpretentious place where burgers are made of the highest quality beef, broiled to the level of done-ness one specifies and served with several choices of garnishes. On top of that, the french fries are the best outside of Belgium I have ever found in Europe. If one wants to eat without bun or cheese, there is a barquette with salad, generous slices of perfectly broiled beef and fries. There are many choices of drinks, not just beer and wine but lots of fruit-based drinks as well. In addition there are several choices of yogurt, a tart and cookies. Service is efficient and abo...
