One of the best place in Strasbourg to eat the jamboneau La crème brulé was delicious. The service was very good. Chez Yvone you need to choose the traditional cuisine

Serving traditional Alsatian dishes (we are in what Waverly Root called the domain of lard), our meal was hearty and tasty, and definitely northern European in essence. At for it was euros more than St Thomas Stuebel,a delightful bistro (winstub) on r...Bouclier, that is easily as good.

What a pleasant surprise! I was scared that the historical restaurant had lost its charm. The service was excellent. The ingredients were delicious, starting with real vegetables. The potatoes were absolutely fantastic. Great taste and perfectly cooked. Everyone was really satisfied. Hope you will enjoy...as much as we did.

The restaurant made a lot of effort in ensuring that diners´seats are kept within a recommended distance and pyrex screens are installed between tables. That´s a thumbs up. I had the recommended coq au vin with Riesling and it was very good. Overall, service and...food quality high. To avoid disappointment during the pandemic, best you call ahead because of the limited tables.

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by our hotel but was met by a very rude and unfriendly waitor who said the restaurant was full even though that the restaurant was nearly empty and it was thursday. We asked if they had a table...for the next day but was told that it was full again. When we came home we found out that there were a lot of available tables for the next on The Fork and we even got our hotel to who also confirmed that they were able to make a reservation, but decided to find another restaurant because of the rude service. They don't seem to like tourist who doesn't speak French

Chez Yvonne is a delightful oasis of fine dining that authentically blends Alsatian German and French cuisine. However you describe it; French with a German twist or German with a French twist it’s good, tasty and plentiful. The restaurant is located in a historic building...that provides a warm and cozy atmosphere. The dining, atmosphere and food were exceptional. The atmosphere is reminiscent of old style European Post Hotel restaurants where fellow travelers mix and enjoy each other’s company and a meal together.
