China Restaurant HuaTing

I love this place. I love Mr. and mrs. Hua Ting, and I love the food. Never ever have I experienced empty plates in a restaurant before, but me and my boyfriend ate everything, from the entry to the main course. It's all good.

Had sweet and sour chicken and pork with fried rice here and spring rolls. All food was hot and nicely presented, service was good. Portions especially of the meat dishes were large. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Generally a good meal

This restaurant while a little bit away from the usual tourist areas is a must. Best Chinese food I've ever had, Their was 8 in our party and we turned up last night without booking a table, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

Staying locally in a hotel and came here as a result of TripAdvisor reviews. Really good food. Had one of the 2 person options. Good portions but not too much. Crispy duck was excellent. Lovely staff. Quiet in the restaurant, no need to book. We'll worth a visit.

The place has a nice atmosphere both inside and outside, we came on a sunday night past 9pm and it still was open and served us. Staff was very polite, friendly. Bathrooms were super clean. Prices were good, food portions were big and vegetarian options are good. Would def come back.

The title probably sums it all up.We ate here one evening during a short break in Berlin. The service was attentive, without being overpowering; the menu was available in English as well as German, and our server was friendly and helpful.The food was superb, and plentiful.When I go back to Berlin, and I shall, this restaurant will be on my list of places to eat.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a Chinese restaurant in Berlin. However I would note that in my opinion, Chinese food here isn't like in the U.K. so don't expect a replica meal. Nonetheless the food was tasty and the portions really generous. Drink prices are reasonable too and they even gave tap water on request which many restaurants don't do here... Service was great; they are super friendly and always smiling!

We stayed at a hotel by Alexanderplatz, my father prefers only Chinese food and I found HuaTing is closest one with quite good reviews. The menu was rather adjusted for local taste, so we order some traditional Chinese dishes and ask the chef to cook in original Chinese way. They turned out to be very good. My father was very satisfied with his meal. He said this was his best dinner in Berlin. Well, we have only tried two Chinese restaurants :) By the way, the restaurant is spotless clean!

My favorite Chinese restaurant! I went to Berlin from Oslo, Norway, after long months of pandemic times, and I was very happy to see that this restaurant has made it through the difficult times. It turns out that they had to be closed for 18 months, not only due to the pandemic, but also because of a water leakage from the floor above them. They have now been open for 7 to 8 weeks, and they seemed very happy to be in to business again. They now have approximately 50 seats outside, which is nice during the summer.
