"Great Experience, The welcome is super warm, fast and professional, The room has just been renovated, it keeps its style but has all the modern conveniences, a roof window allowed us to admire the circus of mountains. The 5-course Gasto evening meal, made with quality local produce, was divine. Service with a smile, very friendly and stylish. Super moment of relaxation The breakfast/brunch was also delicious, fresh quality products and great service. The place is well worth a stop for a night and a meal. We'll definitely be back"

"Refuge de Frience is a mountain restaurant located next to an artificial lake at 1800 meters above sea level, where you can swim with the cows grazing in the background. It is a typical Swiss chalet entirely made of wood, where they serve dishes mainly based on cheese: fondue, raclette, croute, truly delicious. The family that runs it is very hospitable, and provides free equipment for camping on the banks of the lake (umbrellas, picnic tables, and you can also have a packed breakfast."

"It was raining cats and dogs as we drove up to Les Posses from Bex in search of Chez Mantisi. The clouds hung low and the mountains remained invisible. The restaurant was perched high on a mountain top, and we were pleased to see a...large parking area. We walked through the door into the warm cheery welcome of a Bonjour! from the owner, as she led us to our table. For the rest of the evening we could hear her husband burst into loud song as he cooked in the kitchen. We were convinced a chef as happy as he was would present us with delicious food and we weren't wrong! We were celebrating a special occasion and although the stunning views played hide and seek with the clouds, we were happy to be snug and dry in the little restaurant cum hotel, all done up in dark wood and plush red furnishings. The menu was simple. I had a Gnocchi ai Gemelli from the list of the Chef's Recommendations and husband had Ravioles de Loup de Mer, Pesto rosso et Bisque de Homard. Unbelievably delicious. Portions were huge and I had to ask for a doggy bag to take home half the gnocchi. We shared a delectable, if unusual Tiramisu of generous proportions (it had kiwi fruit hiding in the bottom of the glass). DInner was of course washed down with a glass of vino rosso! The price was not the cheapest we have known, but the service was a delight and the evening memorable. As we braved the pouring rain to get back into the trusted chariot we decided we'd definitely be back on a day when the sky was bright blue instead of dark gray. My advice: worth making a special trip to this excellent restaurant"

"Quite a nice restaurant with a big bar in the middle, obviously the bar where locals meet. We had a very good dinner, a degustation of fish with, surprisingly, foie gras poêlé (baked,) Gambas and seebrass, very well prepared. The sea brass was well baked on the skin. Accompanied by some rice and French fries. The French fries, though, were not crispy. Other plate was a fried filet de perches, a kind of an English dish fish and chips. Of very good taste. Good local white whine of Ollon. Good ice cream and coffee gourmand. Very friendly and efficient staff, simply a warm atmosphere. For Swiss standard prices are quite reasonable."

"We arrived at 2:30 p.m. for the little card. The waiter told us I'm coming, then served other tables and didn't come back. A colleague then came to bring us the cards.... But did not come back to take the orders.... After 20 minutes, we left. And no, they were by far not overwhelmed since several tables arrived after us were served. The bar next door was adorable and their cheeses are excellent! Food drinks: We waited Expected Still waiting.... And we couldn't taste anything."
