Magnifique, surprising, necessary to see it. The plateau on 3000 metres. You have to go trough the long tunel in the rock and at the end .......amazing wiev.

A small restaurant on the top. A perfect place to feel on the roof of the world. The restaurant has plenty of space, self-service and not cheap ... but the most beautiful view

Ideal way to travel and see the top of the Kitzsteinhorn. On a clear day the views are amazing. on an overcast day its still worth a visit. plenty to see and nice to be in the fresh mountain air

Im Gegensatz zum SB-Bereich ist es im Gipelrestaurant schön ruhig. Die Karte bietet für jeden etwas, die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut. Schönes Ambiente, Bedienung zügig und freundlich, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

Wir waren sehr spät zum Mittagessen, was unser Glück war, da wir dadurch einen Platz im Restaurant bekommen haben.Sehr schöner Ausblick.Die Bedienung war letztes Jahr flinker, freundlicher.Mir hat auch der Gruß aus der Küche gefehlt. Nichtsdestotrotz immer wieder gern zum Essen und kurzweiligen verweilen.

The location of this restaurant is wonderful at the top of the resort, with amazing views both from the restaurant and the viewing platform. The food is good and the service excellent. The chocolate brownie is to die for! Be warned, though, that it...is very rich and is best shared with a friend (or friends)! The modern decor is welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We have been several times and every time we had to wait for a place to sit, so be patient. Tables are on the bigger side so you would probably sit with a lot of unknown people. You can choose between self-service and regular restaurant service. It is very busy and overcrowded all the time. Food is really average, worth no more than 3-star rating, but the view can't be beaten. So just wait for the perfect spot next to the large window and enjoy your meal, hot sup on a cold day is always a good idea.

Obviously, you're just here when you reach the 'Top of Salzburg' station, and while there are other cafes at other midway stations, I still found these quite decent, and it's easy to use, take your tray for drinks and cakes, and you can... talk to the cooks if you want hot food that speak English. I tried a simple curry sausage fry, I even asked for some curry sauce on the side and she gave it to me in a bowl, I also had a piece of chocolate cake with cream and it was delicious. They had Stiegl Franziskaner beers on Hahn, both of whom were pretty nice. If you do not want to take, feel like a warm meal, it is a pretty good option.
