"Lunch this day 14/10/2023 in this friendly restaurant located on the other side of the Sèvre Niortaise, on the bank in front of the boat Le Collibert. Nice home, sober decor and impeccable overall cleanliness. 2 menus offered including one to 24.80 € and one to 34€ and also à la carte. The choices are varied, both meat and fish. The kitchen is pretty classic, but excellent. There you can eat dorade, sandals, homemade cooked fish soup like everything else, duck, solden ham with mogettes, frog thighs, snails or eels among others. The wine map and like the aperitif also offers a good choice. The dishes are properly trimmed and well erect flattering the gaze before the palate! The boss works alone in the kitchen and the waitress, who must be his wife, at the service is perfect. We wanted to go there in July 2023 during our reservation of the Collibert for the month August, but in season it was complete, including on the terrace we have to book in advance. Already today in the October Month, we were able to count up to our departure more than 20 people. Damvix is a charming little village in the Poitevin marsh in Vendée 85. We recommend this restaurant with pleasure."

A beautiful culinary step in the heart of the Marais Poitevin in the charming village of Damvix. Classic but tasteful cuisine. Too bad there was no more eels on the map tonight, we came on purpose for this typical dish in the region. Service a little long and medium reception.

Restaurant by the water and where the welcome is very pleasant, the place is relaxing and invites our taste buds to enjoy some very good dishes that will be served to you at a very affordable rate. I recommend this establishment for the quality of its dishes and the kindness of the staff
