"One of the big pleasures of going to the flea market Marche aux Puces) is to go and have a real typical french meal. Le Petit Navire Au Petit Navire is indicated though) is this type of restaurant. Locals and venders come here to...eat as well as buyers and tourists. The menu is the usual staple of Salade Nicoise, different pates as an entry followed by a meat or fish dish. I had mussels with french fries. These mussels come from the bay of Mount St Michel bouchot de la baie du Mont St Michel) and are considered the best in France small but very tasty. Everything is home made including the wonderful french fries and the nice and thick mayonnaise. Wines are either by the glass, pichet or bottle. I had a glass of Sancerre that was good and went very well with my food. The service is cozy and efficient the owner and waitresses gave us the feeling we were being taken care of. It certainly made our Sunday at the Marche aux Puces."

The only thing that was even passibly decent in our party's meal was the mussels.

Here's the dilemma: while spending a busy weekend morning shopping at the Puces where does one eat?__One thing's sure - not here.

What a ripoff joint! 2 of the worst ham and cheese sandwiches we have ever had, with a bottle of sparkling water and a small beer $56

Went on Sunday which is crowded because the Marche aux Puces is open Saturday and Sunday, only waited 15mn before been seated, the table are very tight but place not as noisy you would think. We had mussels and frites and white wine and for dessert"iles flottantes" Ver carta

the molds were divine, very seasoned and the homemade fries are a feast. the excellent lamb mouse, with perfectly stained beans! I do not understand negative opinions; c is a real neighbourhood address with fresh and ambience products that fits perfectly with chips.

the service is dated from the 90's as well as the decoration. no intimacy: we eat glued to each other without any possibility of moving. molds announced to 10 euros on the slate but which pass to 18 euros. flats that are very unsealed. does not accept a restaurant ticket or a holiday check! I'm not going back!!

the day was cold, but inside the club it was even colder. the heating didn't work and there was only a fungus in the center to heat the room. we were close to the window and there were remarkable spiffers. The staff is courteous and the tartare was not bad, however I found the whole pretty expensive and messy. I wouldn't come back. Ver carta

Halfway through exploring the ginormous Marche des Puces in Saint Ouen, we started thinking about lunch and chose this friendly and welcoming place that seemingly was a local secret. The sign outside touting the special of the day as Moules Marinieres lured me in and...they were excellent as was my wife's Onion Soup! Good wine and a cute, nautical, I think Breton theme dominated, along with a congenial older man who was the host and made us very welcome and happy we chose his establishment.

That all this is a shame! We could have had a good time but from our entrance we see that the main motivation of this restaurant and its owners (two elderly people) is to make the drawer walk. The tables are tight against each other! I can't move! I can't have any intimacy. for the aero the boss offers immediately a glass of chablis, very good elsewhere but still at 7 euros the glass. really a shame because we had taken mussels that were very good and very well prepared. the decor of this restaurant Vieillot and a little disappointment does not lack charm, the service is attentive and fast. You have to make a number!

"Chanced upon this restaurant when our group was searching for Vietnamese food as it had full 5 stars rating on Tripadvisor. We were their first customers when we reached at 7pm and we felt very welcomed in the very nice and cozy restaurant. The owners were very nice and engaged us in casual conversation, making us feel very much at home. The owners were also very patient, taking the time to explain the different dishes available on the menu to us as we couldn’t speak or understand French. We ordered all 3 types of entrée to share and we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were. Some of the dishes were not available in Vietnamese restaurants back in our home country. The owners were also very kind to offer extra servings to one of us who couldn’t try one of the entrée due to dietary restriction. For the main course, we ordered Bo Bun, also a dish that wasn’t available back home (to the best of my knowledge). Our whole group was amazed by how nice it tasted. The owners were also very kind to offer us a free dish of Vietnamese curry chicken rice so that we can try that dish too. All the food is freshly cooked and it was definitely very nice to have hot food on a cool evening. Our group was delighted with the very nice experience and we will definitely come back again if we ever visit Paris again. A very big thank you to the very kind and friendly couple owners who made this a very delightful experience for us. The kind and warm welcome, coupled with the nice food and cozy environment definitely made this a memorable experience for all of us. A must visit place!"
