"Usually we manage to avoid the tourist traps, but this time, attracted by the Modica wineries, which we have appreciated for a long time, we decided to ignore all the signs... The restaurant is located on the iconic Via Nicolaci, where the famous flower display is set up. So the context is of an extremely high level and so were the expectations. Unfortunately, only the price turned out to be high, while the cuisine was so flat that it left no emotional trace. If I pay 12 or 13 euros for a plate of fried sardines and I get three (on the bill) sardines surrounded by a salad of just lettuce and tomato, those three sardines must be a riot of flavours, which unfortunately they weren't. Even the service, although pleasant, should be brought up to the level of the place, perhaps taking the wine order AFTER the food order, in order to match the right glass (I expect a winery to enhance its products). Even a little more attention to cleaning the tables wouldn't hurt... I don't like writing negative reviews, but seeing very high expectations so flagrantly dashed made me very upset. Noto doesn't deserve this."

A delightful restaurant found by chance for Sunday lunch up a quiet side street. We sat outside under the most amazing baroque balconies with views down the hill. We had a delicious sharing platter for two and a glass of cool, delicious Rosé recommended by the waitress. Good price. Recommend Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
