"We weren't actually that hungry, but given the menu, the smell from the kitchen and the friendly service, we couldn't resist. The risotto didn't entirely convince me, probably because it doesn't meet my idea of a well-done risotto (and for me parmesan is part of that). This risotto does not contain cheese and is a bit dry, more of a side dish. The ravioli with, among other things, pumpkin were amazing and really enjoyable. The meat was juicy, crispy on the outside, red on the inside and of the best quality. Actually, you have to come back again to try more of the menu. Mantova is definitely worth another visit and so is this Osteria."

Excellent tavern in the center of Mantua, friendly and competent staff, excellent tasting menu of typical products, from starters to desserts. Prices in line with the service and quality of the food.

Magnificent dining experience, with food beautifully prepared and recommended and served with gracious professionalism. Pumpkin tortelli and pilot rice, delicious guinea fowl and cod, a special mention for the lemon ice cream with caramelized ginger, amazing! For a place that harks back to an ancient tradition, I would have preferred to find more matching furnishings, but this is just my opinion. Service: Dine in

I am a Mantuan, and after many years I was very surprised to have found a restaurant that fully reflects the traditional Mantuan dishes, the pilot rice and the space pumpkin tortelli are very good. Furnishings, if I can recommend putting more Mantovanita... The price is right for what we ate The waiters are professional, very kind, polite, we had Edo and it was super professional.
