"We were with the family today. Eat Christmas Day there. Since it was fully booked, the volume was corresponding. There was a normal reduced menu with regular prices. The food was good, but it was very expensive. For a cream carving, some fried mushrooms and fries 21.00 euros. Or for a winter plant bowl with a potato bowl for 18.00 The service was trained, friendly and on zack. I can recommend it, but in the near future we will no longer visit Waldfrieden because of the high prices."

"that was nix! we wanted to return there after a hike to dinner. our reservation made on the same day for 17.15 clock had been confirmed unconditionally opening time according to open table profile daily until 20 o'clock.) but then we arrived hungry at the block house, it was said the kitchen had already closed. you close when darkness collapsed, so actually before half an hour. noisy in the menu placed in the entrance there would have been on this day however only three dishes given gulaschuppe, stew and flammkuchen anyway. probably it looks different in the summer there, but at this season the blockhouse is absolutely not recommended!"

"This was a real shot in the oven today. The otherwise really good pizza was sparsely occupied and not properly baked.The pasta dishes have tasted after nothing. "We had a great time! Very friendly and accommodating staff, great rooms, insane views, delicious food and relaxing spa area with a very competent masseur. In our first room it had smelled a bit unpleasant, so we immediately got another room at the top with our own terrace. Just fantastic!The I Tüpfelchen would now be a cold pool in the spa area then everything would be perfect all around!"

"Nice reception and 7 days open. Very clean and consistently implement the current Corona measures. All newly renovated in the Corona-Lockdown and enough dishes for small and large. Whether hearty or sweet, cold or warm, small meals or larger dishes are available. Drink selection is also great. After a hike nearby or around the Laacher Lake, it is recommended to return to this large log cabin and it can then go again!"
