very accommodating staff, ready to customize dishes according to our taste. excellent food. not overcrowded at all. in the afternoon in the free there is a coffee with bunny real whipped cream.

in the last two weeks I had visited schapeau for the purpose of drinks, coffee and dessert, usually after 19:00 clock. the service is exceptionally friendly and efficient and eating is delicious. this restaurant serves some killer desserts. this is a great restaurant.

we ate in the schapeau on a Sunday evening. very friendly reception, pleasant environment, cozy live piano music. the 3-course menu in august for 39 € was excellent; good value for money. a la carte is short but with tasty selection. the white carving is well prepared and delicious; the portion is very large. we'll be back. this is a chic and friendly restaurant, well furnished and equipped. an excellent place to meet friends or a business meeting. the presentation of the feeds corresponds to the raised standard, but unfortunately the taste does not follow. it has therefore become a disappointing culinary experience, as it is not so delicious and unforgettable.

To be fair I have only been here for a drink but that experience was enough to make me never go back! The wine was not good and the price was extortion at over 9 Euro a glass! I've bought better wine from Lidl for 2 Euro! If you find yourself over this way and hungry acoid it and go next door to Lady Tigela way better food and wine for much more reasonable prices!

I live in the hotel torbräu in münchen. after a long day I decided to try the hotel restaurant just to avoid the cold weather and ... surprise!. I finished dinner in the best restaurant I tried in the city. the service was great, eating even better and the details to each dish made the experience from beginning to end pleasant. also the brot was something special. Schapeau offers a Sunday brunch buffet with live piano bar music. The quality of the buffet is per se not so bad and the atmosphere is pleasant but it's way too expensive for what they offer. Ok free coffee and tea refills are included in the price and so is sparkling wine but for 35€ you'd expect something more special than mixed cheese, ham, yoghurt and muesli. They provide some warm dishes too like some noodles, some roast pork etc but it's possible to get very similar buffets for half the price (ie Zoozies).

on our last night in a few we have eaten tasty white carvings here. we stayed in the connected hotel torbräu. the service in the restaurant was excellent, the food was good and the room was nice and quiet so that my wife and each other could hear talking. the menu is small and changes every day. they can get in the regular bark fillet tips, pork and fish. the cake and mousse desserts looked fantastic. if they are looking for a quiet eating in front of the loud outside world - a place where they can talk - schapeau is a good choice.

how often do they avoid hotel restaurants? when they are like me, quite often. but schapeau is not too overlooked. I was tired and hungry at my arrival in a little bit late afternoon and ate in schapeau to night and was so glad that I did. the excellent personal greeted me with courtesy and friendliness and as my fine dinner progressed, I forgot how tired I was and enjoyed everything. I started with a dry martini (made well and with 3 olives), then I had the appetizer with marinated trout and the special appetizer from the wolfsbarsch (with broccolini, risotto). the quality of the food, preparation and presentation was excellent. a glass riesling was also very good.
