"Das türkische Essen wie Yufka, Döner, Pide usw. Ist gut, kann man nicht meckern. Aber, aber! Die Pizza! Hab ich nicht probiert, aber wenn ich sehe dass die Pizza mit einer Blechform in den Steinofen geschoben wird stellen sich mir die Nackenhaare!!! Das....geht....garnicht!! Vor allem nicht zu den heutigen Preise, da ist Qualität gefordert. Sorry, wenn man selbst Pizza zuhause macht....ist das hier eine Zumutung."

"Echte badische Küche. Mit Herz und Kompetenz wird hier vom Feinsten gekocht. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gepaart mit freundlicher Bedienung. "Ach ja, was soll man sagen, die gute alte Heimat enttäuscht uns eben nie. Waren gestern ganz spontan des Weges und wissen, dass man in der Heimat eigentlich besser reservieren sollte gestern abend gab es dann dennoch für uns noch einen Platz. Egal was wir wollten, ob Hochstuhl für unsere kleine Maus, extra Pommes ungesalzen oder Plastikbecher alles kein Problem und man hatte das Gefühl, der Service erfüllt uns jeden Wunsch. Der Service ist in der Heimat immer 1A und ein Zeichen dafür, dass Gastro heutzutage auch mit super Service überzeugen kann. Das Essen war ebenfalls wie immer grandios, es gab Rote Beete Risotto, Geschnetzeltes Züricher Art und eine Hand voll ungesalzene Pommes. Vorneweg ein Carpaccio grandios. Geschmacklich war alles absolut bombe. Das Essen selbst brauchte trotz gut besuchtem Gastraum nicht zu lange. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher, Ambiente ist einfach schön, der Service überzeugt immer wieder und die Qualität des Essens lies noch nie zu wünschen übrig jeder Cent, den man in diesem Restaurant ausgibt, ist es auch wert!"

"Auf vielfache Empfehlung haben wir einen Abend im Restaurant verbracht. Leider waren insgesamt weder Speisen, noch Getränke, noch Service noch Ambiente eine positive Bewertung wert, da in allen Punkten viel Luft nach oben ist Getränke: alkoholfreier Aperitif und Weizenbier waren okay, Saftschorle war Wasser ohne Kohlensäure mit einem Schuss Saft, somit leider kein Geschmack und auch keine Schorle. Bei 0,4l für 4,70€ einfach Wucher Essen: Gemischter Salat war gut, Suppe geschmacklos mit hartem Gemüse, Einlage war leider nicht der Speisekarte entsprechend Cordon Bleu ohne/oder viel zu wenig Gewürze, Salz, Pfeffer, Sauce dazu fad, Kroketten okay Pute war zart und saftig, Spätzle ohne Gewürze, Sauce zu dick und geschmacksneutral Tellerdeko: Rohe Zucchini und rohe Paprika. Schade um die Zutaten, als Tellerdeko einfach überflüssig Service: Übertrieben freundlich, aber ohne Plan/System. Ein paar Beispiele: Kinder geschätzt 10 12 Jahre räumen Tische ab und platzieren Gäste es wird zuerst ein falsches Getränk gebracht und das danach richtige dauert länger als der Hauptgang zum servieren Hauptgang wird serviert, obwohl Vorspeise nicht abgeräumt ist. Stapeln auf dem Tisch als Folge Entschuldigung der Servicekraft, dass sie noch einen Moment zum Abräumen braucht. Dann läuft die Servicekraft aber mit einer Kollegin 3 4 mit leeren Händen am Tisch vorbei und zurück zum Tresen Ambiente: Schöner Anbau/Neubau. Wertige Einrichtung. Luft nicht gut, beim Betreten steht man im Dunst von Küche und Friteuse. Kleidung riecht im Nachgang auch danach. Fazit: Cordon Bleu mit Kroketten und Beilagen Salat für knapp 34€ ist zu teuer, da die Ausführung und der Service schlechter als in einigen Bars/kleinen Lokalen ist, bei denen das Essen nicht im Mittelpunkt steht. Inflation, MWSt. . Erhöhung, Energiekosten rechtfertigen auch diese Preise nicht. Es gibt 100 derartige Restaurants in der Ortenau. Auf dem Preislevel haben wir noch kein Restaurant erlebt, wo dann auch noch das Gesamtpaket nicht stimmt. Dann noch knapp 5 Minuten auf eine mit der Hand geschriebene Rechnung warten zu müssen rundet das Ganze nicht positiv ab. Das sich die Servicekraft auch noch gerechtfertigt hat, dass sie es erst noch zusammenrechnen muss und das ein paar Minuten dauert, lassen wir einfach mal so stehen. Empfehlung: Service Leitung einsetzen, welche den Laden im Griff/ Blick hat und den Rest koordiniert. Auf nicht positives Feedback der Gäste zum Essen eingehen und nicht freundlich weglächeln."

"Eigentlich ging es nicht schlechter. Der Flammkuchen war richtig schlecht zubereitet. Halb roh und halb verbrannt. Man hat noch Knoblauchpulver und Paprikapulver auf dem Flammkuchen gesehen. Absolute Frechheit so etwas Original nach Elsässer Rezept zu nennen. Wir saßen im Regen, mussten lange warten und die Bedienung war unfreundlich und wie ein clown geschminkt. Ich glaube dieses Restaurant und die Mitarbeiter ruhen sich auf längst vergorenen Lorbeeren von vor vielen Jahren aus. Als wir gehen wollten und kein Desert wollten war die Bedienung auch noch beleidigt weil sie kein Trinkgeld bekommen hatte für den schlechten Service. Furchtbar. "I don't know where to start the whole evening was a catastrophe. we had to wait for the appetizer almost half an hour. the chief finally came and accepted the order. two minutes later he came back and asked again what we had ordered because he forgot, this time he wrote the order. the pumpkin soup consisted of 80%, the rest was kartoffel soup without any spices. a nightmare. in the meantime we see how the neighborly paid because the pizza apparently did not taste. at the table behind us you hear laughter because their pizza is burned, they make fun of the restaurant. Suddenly we notice that it is cold and no music runs. it was an unpleasant mood in the restaurant and everyone could hear what the other says.Then came our pizzas and you can see that the floor is burned. the waiter puts the pizza on the table and we must find that a pizza has been swapped. we immediately said that we didn't order this and after waiting for eternal came the right pizza at some point.The diligent was a mixture of mushy and burned. also not a typical pizza teig but similar to a mixture of flame-cake teig and keksteig. the ingredients were absolutely underground almost as if you had let the cheapest go with aldi and served us in the restaurant it was cruel. how did not even eat the half, and my wife has already hung over a bit of a bite.That was the moment when we left everything and wanted to pay disappointed. but not before the chef didn't make us another embarrassing scene. like a small child he controlled the pizzas and meant they are perfect and meant it is clear that we did not eat up because suppe pizza is too much that nobody creates. at the competition, the pizzas are much smaller he meant. I meant I was very dissatisfied, but he didn't want to hear it. on several questions whether I want to take this with me I have always answered with no and not even then he understood that something has not voted with the food, not with our hunger. after that, it should be paid and the chef had to ask two more times what we had ordered, apparently he can't remember what we had ordered or he just didn't care about it. He was mad and insulted like a child didn't get what it wanted. very unprofessional and unsympathetic.The complete evening was a pure, absolutely not recommended.Parking: there is no parking available."

"Both the staff and the cook were very well trained in terms of gluten intolerance (which you really cannot claim from many restaurant). There was even a gluten-free bread to my salad. The food was very tasty: and was prepared extra without sauce binders and other additives that I would not tolerate. "This restaurant is situated in an old hospital building that later was occupied by French army. For this reason you find next to the restaurant a little interesting museum about the history of the building and its function in Hitlers Germany. Afterwards you may have a nice coffee with cake or a nice diner. The menu is very varied and kitchen is seasonal. They also serve breakfast. The only thing that you have be early because kitchen closed at 9 when I was there last time."

"we just wanted to eat a bit for lunch and some well-known local on our way were closed there lay to the car in fautenbach exactly on the way and at over 30 degrees in the shadow made the search also not fun. on the terrace sat only one guest despite the heat and inside we were the only guests. the service obviously the owner very friendly and competent. the map clear and varied. my wife was the obligatory pruning carving, there she is a real expert and I made the big salat with fresh, fried pfifferlings. we had chosen both dishes excellent in taste and as it was presented so price/performance is right. the ambiente is a typical rural inn but cozy. we were certainly not there for the last time and I can imagine the bad specialities in autumn temperatures."

"Kleiner Laden mit leckerem sushi. Bestellen hier meistens, wenn man etwas früher bestellt (1,5h im voraus) sind die Sachen auch bei großen Bestellungen pünktlich fertig. Als es mal länger ging haben wir ne Flasche Wein bekommen. Die Leute sind immer freundlich wir essen hier gerne"

"This hotel is ideally placed in the centre of the town. The rooms are moderate in size they lead out on to a terrace which is very convienent to chill out after a day of travelling. The only down side being a lack of air - con as when we were there the temperatures were in the 30 s. The food was brilliant and all cooked by the host and served by his wife who made us more than welcome. We were on motorbikes and we had secure and sheltered parking which was great."

"Von außen ist dieses Hotel Restaurant sehr gepflegt und das zieht sich auch durch das Restaurant. Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen, aufmerksamen Mitarbeiterin bedient. Sie empfahl uns einen schönen Aperitif sowie einen tollen Wein zum Essen. Das essen war eine glatte 1. Steak auf den Punkt gegart, hiesigen Spargel mit einer hausgemachten Hollandaise mit gebräunter Butter hergestellt , die ihresgleichen sucht. Rundum ein gelungener Abend mit einer sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichen Mitarbeiterin."

"The interior is attractive. During my last visit only waiting delivery drivers were on site.
