"My family have been here numerous times and booked for breakfast on Sunday morning for 8 at 10:30. In summary, they really didn't want us there and made it very clear we needed to hurry and leave. As we pulled into the car park at 10:34 (a little late) the pub called us to ask where we were we said we would be 1 minute as we were parking. We assumed the place was really busy and they wanted to check we were coming in fact there was only 1 other table occupied. They sat us at our table and asked if we could order right away we were hoping for a leisurely breakfast with 2 or 3 cups of coffee etc and expected to leave just before 12 when lunch would start. As it turned out we were told that the kitchen shuts for breakfast at 10:30 and we needed to order to make sure we got some food. Needless to say we were very frustrated. We had booked the table for breakfast for 10:30am; and when we arrived we were essentially told that the kitchen was closed. The lady that served us really didn't want us there and made it clear in her manner that we really needed to hurry up, order and move on. Our previous breakfast here was great, with the owners son keeping us company I can only assume things have moved on and Sunday lunch is now the full focus. Anyway, maybe success has gone to their head a little for us we won't be back."
