"Restaurant "Aichinger Huette" is located a short distance lower than the termination of the Villacher Alpenstrasse on parking P11. "Aichinger Huette" is located at parking P10, so ample parking is available. "Aichinger Huette" offers inside seating, but also an extensive outdoor seating area, where, as can be expected at that height, nice views can be had. We chose a nice spot to have lunch in the outside area. The menu consists mainly of Carinthian dishes, where some explaining by the staff goes not amiss. But I can tell that the food is very tasty and skilfully prepared. And you will not leave this place hungry. I have to make a special remark about the professional and prompt service of the staff. The jar of beer was of exactly the right temperature and prices are reasonable. To be recommended."
