"Excellent Food, Great atmosphere, and great location. Based on taste, price and atmosphere, this is another best kept secret near Koblenz; in Bad Ems. I visited this restaurant last weekend on Saturday evening, after making a reservation for two on the Thursday before. I made a reservation by email and received no reply, however perhaps because we also called by telephone an hour later that same evening for a reservation. We arrived earlier than our reservation time and were nicely greeted at the door. Our reserved table was waiting for us, as promised. The waitress also asked if she could take my coat and she hung it up in a large open closet, which had lots of room and where I could see my coat. The Menu consists of a select limited number of dishes, but with enough variety that anyone can find something good to eat. The Menu is very easy to read and understand. Plus, salads, fish and vegetarian meals are also available. While prices are above average, they are fair and the portions are adequate. I had a Schweinefiletspitzen „ Allgäuer Art“ in Käserahmsauce mit hausgemachten Spätzle dazu Feldsalat for € 14,50. I love spätzle noodles. My partner had the Gebratene US-Steakhüfte mit Sauce Bernaise dazu Grilltomaten und Kartoffelwedges for € 21,50. I tasted both dishes and I can happily recommend both meals as delicious. While my meal came with a salad, my partner’s did not. So we ordered an extra salad for her and shared it. Feldsalat mit Kartoffelspeck – Dressing, knusprigem Speck und Croutons € 8,50. The salad was served first and then the entrees, as it should be. They were nice enough to give us two plates for the first salad, as we requested; so we could share it. Both food dishes came, hot as required and within a timely manner. We also asked for more bread during the meal and received some, so we could soak up the delicious sauces from our meat. Empty plates were collected, when appropriate and at that time we were nicely asked if everything was OK.The atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant nicely decorated, in an English-Art Deco-Dark Wood ambient but is not over done. The restaurant is roomy and well organized concerning space. It would be a great place for a special occasion. One can either sit outside (now that we have good weather), inside in the front of the restaurant and look out through the window, or far inside in the back. There is also a bar with bar chairs where one can also sit. Outside the area is covered and is partitioned from the sidewalk. The tables are nicely decorated with a cloth runner (which hangs in front of the where on sits on both sides of the table a little too long), a candle, and cloth napkins. This restaurant has parking across the street or down the street, with spaces for about 10+ cars, so we didn’t have to go hunting for a parking space on the street. Plus, because we were there on Saturday night, we did not have to pay to park. Otherwise, we would have to pay to park.We were also friendly wished a pleasant day, as we left the restaurant. The Internet page is very well organized and informative with the Menu On-line, but it is only in German. Negatives are: 1) While parking is available on the street, one has to pay to park, if they want to pay again to have the privilege to eat at this restaurant. 2) Internet Page is only in GermanOverall this restaurant receives my best recommendation and we will both be back to enjoy another meal."

"After our autumn holiday abroad in 2021 had to be cancelled entry restrictions, quarantine werwarr etc we were pleased to get to know our beautiful Germany a little closer. We were looking for a corner from where we were not yet, and to let us go well, we booked an extended pamper you plus weekend 4 days. The imposing Häckers Grand Hotel, which is located right in the Kurviertel an der Lahn, makes a lot from the outside. Very friendly reception, inside almost completely received in original condition from the 18th century. Some of the Bad Emser Sources are in the hotel's fountain hall, no wonder that for centuries many famous personalities including 1778 Kaiser Wilhelm, Zar Alexander ......here went to the spa and settled in the exquisite Grand Hotel . Also the furniture in the hotel is from the finest, for my taste almost too much very comfortable velvet-related chairs and sofas, fitting to the soft carpet, huge floral decorations of course all fresh flowers, large crystal chandeliers .................. no wonder that which Häckers has 4 star superior. Also our rooms did not disappoint us, generously cut with marble bathroom, sofa corner with desk, as well as fruit basket, champagne and mineral water in the room. Also, the Häckers has a large spa area thermal bath, large sauna area, steam grottos, whirlpools beauty farm......... The tables in Benedetti restaurant, where we took our meals, were tastefully covered with fabric tablecloths and colour matching fabric napkins, crystal glasses and candles, fresh flowers and a personalized menu for each guest. 1 day Food : VP: table spices with herbal cream fraiche with roasted walnuts perfect soup : pumpkin cream soup with steiric pumpkin oil normally I am not a friend of pumpkin soups mostly very pampigious, but here I had to revise my opinion as I tried with my sweetheart and was thrilled to order me instead. HP: Grilled dorade fillet with seafood sauce and Red Berry Gnocchi ingenious combination that not only looked famos but also so tasted. fried veal steak with fresh pawlings in cream sauce, colorful scrub noodles and romanesco juicy veal, vegetables until good dessert: passion fruit with brombery the best comes to the conclusion here hits the nail on the head, even if you can hardly believe this is possible after the great food before it has been eaten so much Cheese cuts, prunes and prunes Before that there was an Amuse Bouche from the kitchen every day before our menue, which should match us to the delicious dishes, which was quite successful. Even at the breakfast buffet as expected, there was hardly anything you missed, and a large cupboard full of different teas, large coffee selection......... there is no wish left. Absolutely recommended!"

"Foreword: The tastes are different – fortunately for the different culinary directions. But tastes must not be confused with false language use, handcrafted mistakes or weak ingredients. This is the total of 17. Criticism about this restaurant, and it is, unfortunately, quite contrary to the opinion of the majority, like that of my previous speaker. But the majority has always ... wrong, this majority consists exclusively of so-called. First and at the same time one-time critics, rightly seen by many experienced critics (and commentators of the same jubilee assessments very suspectively. Certainly, a visit to the restaurant is a description of the moment... and the tastes are different. But here are apparently described various worlds. On the occasion of a small tour to the Lahn in beautiful weather and sunshine I had decided to eat in Bad Ems. Large sun terrace and the contradictory criticisms came to my mind, and so I landed “On the Wipsch” thanks to Navi and even found a parking lot. I didn't find a sun terrace, but probably a large terrace, up to 2 tables in the shade in the afternoon. All right, get in the room. No service in sight, some tables occupied, I take the last two table. A counter left, before that 2 wine barrels redesigned to tables, the remaining tables on the spacious window front running around the corner. The flower friend is looking forward to a lot of greenery on the window benches, especially many orchids. Their leaves unfortunately have the nasty habit of attracting dust magically. Resopal or other plastic plates form the table surfaces, pepper and salt on a table top in the middle of the table, together with a flowerpot and a curved glass with floor filling made of glitter stones, probably intended as a light source (with optional tea light . A service power, female, in normal clothing (Chefin ? , serves other tables and “threats” with pervading voice on my table several times. Then it's ready, and she'll take the card, and she wants to know what I drink. Njet, I'm new here and need a look at the map. Very clear, German food offer, many carvings, a special page „Steakwochen im February ?“, no daily dishes (but I look outside on the advertising space, drinks back. She comes back and asks for my wishes. On my explicit request, she calls the daily court. Isn't mine today, I had German frying potatoes in the German local, unfortunately in connection with a pig-back steak, but with onions and salad plate (11,50 €). And the last page had a bopparder Hamm Riesling dry on (3,40 €). The wine was served properly tempered in the glass, but you didn't have to remember it. Then the side salad was brought, a small bowl with a colorful mixture. On top of 2 undamaged cucumber spirals, a tomato saddle, all on green salads, carrots and herb salads in a white dressing, making no special impression, I guess from a bottle due to stressed acidity. The main food came with a great onion smell. The onions looked good. And as they looked, they also tasted. Unfortunately, this is already the end of the positive messages, because the most anticipated b r a t kartoffeln were apparently not in the b r a t pfanne ge b r a t e n, but were probably caught in the frituse, the bacon cubes and some smaller onion elements hard to carburize wherever they came from. The steak was tall, but had no good meat taste (before watery, was very chessy, inside rather dry as often at pig back, and overall hard. Conclusion: It is not the gourmet temple, as some have probably wished for it (other kinds of things, but actually it was a poorest eating experience ever since I wrote in RK. And that the service does not point out that you are in the smoking area, in my eyes is an extremely weak service."
