Terrasse und Wintergarten sind auf der Selbstbedienungsbasis perfekt für Wanderer geeignet, die sich auf eine Brotzeit, hausgemachte Sülze oder eine frischen Salat freuen.Das Restaurant -welches auch eine eigene, sehr schöne Terrasse mit einer genialen Aussicht besitzt- ist innen eher casual, aber mit einer gehobenen Speisekarte als Weinbar/Restaurant aufgebaut.Der Service war sehr erfrischend, schlagfertig und trotz eines anscheinend stressigen Tages super gelaunt und aufmerksam, und doch im richtigen Moment zurückhaltend.Das Carpaccio vom Rind mit einem Limonen-Basilikumsorbet war genial an diesem warmen Sommerabend.Die Hauptgänge waren lecker, nur leider etwas zu viel für mich, nach einer Vorspeise.Die Weinkarte war interessant, mit vielen Weißweinen zwischen 30-50€. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war mein Cynar-Soda, der seltsamerweise sehr süß schmeckte, als wäre er mit Bitter Lemon, Sprite oder Tonic aufgefüllt.Die Aussicht ist das geniale an der Location, perfekt für Wanderer, aber auch für Paare, die einen romantischen und lustigen Abend genießen wollen."

The salads are made with great care, the portions are generous and the prices reasonable. In addition to this, you have the diner atmosphere of an American diner. And after your meal, you can go for a lovely walk on the island on the Rhine (few metres away from the Restaurant), or you can walk up the Rhine and take a trip to the other side of the Rhine. From the moment I entered the restaurant I was captured by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and always tried to fulfill every wish. You could feel that people are working here with heart and passion. The service was not only professional, but also very personal, which gave the entire experience a particularly pleasant touch. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. The menu offers a fine selection of dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was a real pleasure and a testament to culinary mastery. I would particularly like to highlight the burgers and sweet potato fries, which were perfectly prepared and an absolute highlight in terms of taste. The price-performance ratio is also excellent. "Fantastic food and great service! I placed an order yesterday afternoon 2 pizzas, 1 pasta and a salad and everything was simply outstanding! The pizzas were freshly baked, perfectly topped and with a crispy edge. The pasta had a wonderfully creamy sauce and the salad was crisp and fresh. Simply delicious! The delivery service was also great, very friendly and punctual drivers. You can tell that the attention to detail is worked here. I will definitely order again. absolute recommendation!"

"Ich wohne in BH und komme seit mind. 10 Jahren regelmäßig in diesen Biergarte. So einen schlechten Service, wie in dieser Saison gab es noch nie hier! Völlig überfordertes Personal in jegliche Hinsicht! Ich habe jahrelang gekeepert und gekellnert ich weiß, wie es läuft daher traue ich mir eine Bewertung zu!Sobald der Biergarten voll wird ist die Selbstbedienungstheke völlig überfordert. Man arbeitet mit 1! Kasse...und die Gäste (hier kein König) warten 25 min auf ihr erstes Getränk....auf ein zweites hatte ich mehrfacher diese Saison keine Lust mehr! Mitarbeiter die nach dem Bedienen zum Service zurückkommen und Zitat "Boah was wir hier verkaufen ich hätte bei dem Essen was ich gebracht habe fast gekotzt..." vor den Gästen...NO GO !! E stehen teilweise an der Kasse 4 Mitarbeiter die nix tuen und darauf warten das der Bon geschrieben wird bevor sie die Getränke zapfen...Ich könnte das noch ewig fortführen.. Ich bin einfach nur enttäuscht, dass der Pächter wohl das Interesse verloren hat nach dem medial bekannten Zwist mit der Stadt...er ist hier auch gar nicht mehr präsent..es fehlt an Führung der jungen und unengagierten Mitarbeiter, die lieber permanent vor dem Gast am Smartphone spielen. Ich arbeite im Dienstleistungssektor....wäre ich so drauf... ich wäre arbeitslos...unfassbar, wie eine der besten und attraktivsten Biergarten Locations am Rhein so herunterkommen konnte...Geht nach Rheinbreitbach...Rheinair...dort funktioniert der Service ziemlich gut, ähnlich coloe Location und das Essen ist auch noch besser!"
