"Mais quelle surprise ! Qui aurait cru qu'on puisse trouver dans ce petit village perdu allemand un peu du soleil Napolitain...mais surtout beaucoup de ses couleurs , de ses saveurs et le charme du personnage qui les transmet ... le Chef Enzo.Ce passionné de la cuisine et des arts est un virtuose et un grand pianiste au sens propre et figuré ... aussi bien en cuisine derrière le piano et les fourneaux , qu'en salle devant le clavier de son vieux piano ...Il exprime sa pasión aussi bien dans les assiettes que dans la musique qu'il joue ...On a eu de la chance de tomber sur son Resto et pouvoir déguster quelques-uns de ses plats et on est resté sous le charme ... les spaghetti di mare al cartucho étaient délicieux , parfumées et riches en saveur, quant aux raviolis alla gorgonzola, ils étaient d'une finesse et d'une onctuosité et richesse en bouche inégalable ,les spaghetti alla carbonara étaient aussi parfaitement exécutés ,la seule chose était qu'étant un grand amateur de la charcuterie j'ai trouvé que cela manquait de bacon. Je pense qu'il n'est pas vraiment nécessaire mais je le souligne quand même - les pâtes sont faites maison et cela fait la grand différence!! Pour terminer ce repas gourmand on a peché avec le tiramisu et la panna cota aux fruits de bois et pétales de rose... ils étaient tout aussi délicieux que le reste du repas , quoi que à mon goût, les deux desserts manquait un peu de sucre..peu importe.. la dégustation était tout simplement incroyable et on a passé un moment inoubliable... et ceci sans avoir dit encore qu'on a pu aussi profiter des performances artistique du fabuleux Chef Enzo au piano et à l'accordéon à la fin de son service... bravo et merci pour cet moment à ta table Enzo!"

"This is the oldest and most traditional of restaurants in Bad Nauheim. The interior adds a particular cosy charm.Our hotel receptionist recommended this restaurant after we had informed him that we were keen to try the local traditional Hessian cuisine. Included in his recommendation was a list of what dishes we must try. A very nice, friendly and courteous young waiter communicated with us in fluent English when we arrived. Despite our lack of a reservation we were fortunate enough that the waiter seated us at a table where a few other people were already seated. Both the service and food were really good. For our mains, my husband had the beef with potatoes and Hessian green sauce, which had come highly recommended by our receptionist, and I had the cold meat in aspic with remoulade, onion and fried potatoes. For an entree we shared Hessian cheese (Handkäs) with vinegar and onion. To drink we tried the cider.All our food was freshly prepared and tasty. The prices were reasonable.I thoroughly recommend visiting this establishment when you are in Bad Nauheim.Keep in mind that the property is closed every Wednesday."

"very centrally located in bad nauheim, in summer terrace overlooking the wide cure with water games and sea, or they find among the coonades or in the inner of the Italian local, that would be wasted in late spring on a sunny day but purest wasted. the tables with integrated fireplace/grill in the middle dazzle, especially after the sunbathing, have a beautiful atmosphere, as it was sunny and warm with us, we did not need it. nice friendly service that brought us hardly that we had both the ice card and the regular main menu and at the same time the day offers anpries e.g. b thunfischcarpaccio, tortellini with wild boar filling, linguine with lime sauce and eismeergarnel. they already melt the water in the munde, pity that we have not yet been so hungry, so we decided: coppa coffee ice cup with coffee ice cream good taruffo limoncello lemon ice cream ball with limoncello in the middle very delicious and super refreshing. to this latte macchiato and a capucchino, so they can enjoy the early part with the first really warm days in the open and watch the crowding fellow. because the main menu was very tempting, we want to come back to make us pamper."

"late breakfast for two. ordered the large breakfast complete with proseco and fruit juice and added yogurt and plenty for two more. we could eat. eating was very good. the service was disturbed. the delay in maintaining food supplies was completely inappropriate. coffee came. with a teller butter twenty minutes before the meal. you need to say the butter was melted. the proseco and fruit juice had not yet arrived despite a second request. you would expect the proseco and fruit juice to close first with coffee. a question to an older female waitress has not yet received the necessary result. we finally asked an older male waiter on the bill and mentioned our three accusations to fruit juice and proseco. it followed an apology and the bill and the juice and proseco arrived. with only four other tables that were occupied, there was no excuse for such a bad service. the waiters must train! will not be back."

"Als Gastronom hat man es in Bad Nauheim vermutlich schwer. Nicht, weil das Publikum meiner Heimatstadt besonders viel Ahnung von gutem Essen hätte - im Gegenteil - sondern, weil die Knauserigkeit der Einwohner den Restaurantbesitzern über Jahrzehnte ein gnadenloses Preisdiktat aufgezwungen hat. Hauptgänge über 20 €: no way! Bad Nauheim ist daher nie über das Niveau der langweiligen DurchschnittsItaliener hinausgekommen. Das ist sehr schade, insbesondere wenn man bedenkt, was andere Städte in dieser Größenordnung kulinarisch zu bieten haben. Aber Besserung ist in Sicht! Das Tafelspitz war das erste, das sich ein bisschen nach vorne gewagt hat. Seit etwa zwei Jahren gibt es nun noch das Zulegers. Danke dafür! Das gemütlich-schicke Restaurant in Marktplatznähe hebt auf erfreulicher Weise das kulinarische Niveau der Stadt. Die sehr fair kalkulierten Gerichte sind wirklich lecker. Die Kalbsbäckchen mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelpüree und schwerer, dunkler Soße waren ein guter Start. Das Forellenfilet mit Meerrettichsauce oder auch das butterzarte Lammkarrée meiner Frau ebenfalls großartig. Dazu eine originelle und qualitativ überdurchschnittliche Weinkarte mit vielen Klassikern, aber auch einigen Entdeckungen. Der Service äußerst zuvorkommend und tadellos. Hier gibt es hier nicht das Geringste zu meckern! Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Weiter so! Wir kommen wieder!"

"Alleine den Namen dieser Straußenwirtschaft fand ich super. In einem Innenhof eines Typisch hessischen Bauernhofes stehen jede Menge Bänke und Tische und man kann gemütlich sitzen und es sich gut gehen lassen. Äppelwoi und zum Teil ausgefallene Abwandlungen des hessischen Handkäs' und Kochkäs' schmecken lecker. Die Wirtsleute sind herzlich und engagiert. Der ideale Stop nach einer Fahrradtour oder nach der Arbeit."

"lunch for five and we decided to eat in the mall outside. two pizzas, two garnels and spaghetti dishes and an Italiana salad. the dinge did not come to a great start when they advised some time after our orders that they were made out of...alcohol-free weizenbier and hadwe had to have something elsé! Unfortunately, this was reported to only two of the three diners who finally ordered and received a pilgrim. let them have a diner with nothing to drink at a 39c day! Finally we had to go to the restaurant and sort a drink from a not too interested waiter. the meals came and all were happy with their pizzas, whether it was found both woman is hard to cut them also with the steak knife and the spaghetti dishes were also ok. However, the Italiana salad was a great disappointment. it should have thunfish and red tweezers among other things, and I think maize. it had no thunfish, two slitters of red tweepers less than one inch long, and no maize. it was also drown in a yogurt dill sauce that, while quite beautiful, was not great. the presentation left much to wish to not mention the missing ingredients. to round off everything we had to ask for the bill three times and wait about 15 minutes. there are much better Italian restaurants to eat with much better service. will not come back."

"Die ist keine Pizzeria, sondern ein kleiner Abhol- und Lieferservice. Es hat dort gut Gerochen.Im Restaurant selbst gibt es nur 1 Tisch mit 2 Stühlen. Die Tür stand die ganze Zeit offen und es war sehr kalt, ich habe3 ide ganze Zeit mit der Jacke dort sitzen müssen. Beim Essen war die Pizza deshalb leider gleich kalt.Das Personal war ganz Nett. Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte war durchschnittlich. Die Preise sind im mittleren Niveau. Die Pizzen gibt es nur in groß mit 30 CM Durchmesser. Auf meine Frage, ob man auch eine kleine Pizza bekommen könne bekam ich zur Antwort: Sie können ja auch die Party Pizza nehmen. Merkwürdiger Humor. Ich hatte dann eine Pizza Diavolo.Sie war nach 15 Minuten fertig und geschmacklich einigermaßen gut. Nur der Rand war sehr trocken und brüchig. Es gab keine Gewürze oder Öl nur Pfeffer auf Nachfrage. Dadurch, dass es ein Mittags Angebot war, hat diese Pizza nur 5.50 Euro gekostet, das war günstig. Sonst kostest sie 8 Euro."

"Just dropped in Sunday night with two friends for a get together and some food and drink. Deco is a weird mixture, but place is so busy that we only had a table available by the stairs down to the bathrooms. Waitress speaking a mostly comprehensible German came to attend us promptly and offered us the menus, which are an international corpses over fare as is the decor.The beers large Guinness on draft came very promptly and were as warm as expected and downed soon. In terms of food the schnitzel looked huge and fries fresh, met no critiques. The cheese burger was two halves of bread with a burger and cheese on each and home made fries / probably the best of our choices. My so called taco salad vegetarian is a joke in terms of price worthiness> EUR 11 for a small salad with 4 tacos, the basket proves inedibly greasy and not flavoured with anything.A nice whisks assortment, good music, the place is pretty busy but nothing worth writing home about. Would I come again? Probably not as there are far more attractive choices in town."

"Wir waren aufgrund ein Tips zum ersten Mal zum Abendessen Gast im Restaurant Waldhaus. Schon bei der Begrüßung fühlten wir uns, als seien wir schon altbekannte Stammgäste so herzlich viel die Begrüßung aus. Der überaus freundliche und fast schon liebevolle Freundlichkeit im aufmerksamen Service führte zu dem Gefühl, dass man bei Freunden isst. Die Qualität und der Geschmack waren von den Antipasti über die bestellten Hauptgänge Rumpsteak mit grünen Pfeffer bzw. die der bestellten Pasta Gerichte gleichbleibend gut und ein guter zweiter Grund, dass dies nicht der letzte Besuch sein wird."

"Mi esposa y yo visitamos este restaurante con su hermano y su esposa. Yo tenía un Rahmschnitel, cerdo empanizado en salsa de crema, mi esposa tenía un jaegerschnitzel, cerdo empanizado con salsa de champiñones, mientras que su hermano tenía un Paprikaschnitzel, cerdo cubierto de pimientos y ... cebollas, su esposa tenía un Schnitzel hawaiano, empanizado cerdo con jamón y piña. Toda la comida era muy buena. El único inconveniente fue que, al intentar liquidar nuestra factura, el propietario se acercó y solicitó que pagáramos en efectivo ya que tenía que pagar a la compañía de la tarjeta de crédito, esto aunque la puerta de su restaurante enumeraba todas las tarjetas aceptadas. Este fue un irritante menor en una velada por lo demás deliciosa"
