"Spent 7 night stay here touring WW1 Battlefields, picked this location as central for 'The Somme Area ' and easy to find, close to motorway from Calais. Has everything you need for a relaxing stay, all in one place. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great shower, lounge area, bar and restaurant. Continental breakfast with loads of choice, food in restaurant is exceptional, nice touch was Chef serving main course to us. Small number of staff working very hard and always there to help. We found the relaxed dress code acceptable and very French, didn 't affect the quality of service. Some reviews say there are cheaper rates nearby in Albert, we did okay by searching on booking sites. Plenty of parking on Hotel forecourt covered by cctv. Number of Supermarkets nearby and very helpful Tourist Information in Bapaume. Will stay here again and recommend to friends. Thank you Hotel de la Paix Team."
