"Lovely restaurant in the heart of S. Maria Navarrese. We came to Baunei during the off season and were thrilled to find a restaurant with local cuisine. Bonus that the menu and servers spoke English, although they were patient in allowing us to practice our basic Italian when we tried. Food was yummy best gnocchi I’ve had! Ambience was really nice for our date night dinner. We dressed up and didn’t feel out of place, although you could also come and dine in more casual clothing. Would recommend!"

"We came there at 19 and asked about two places. This restaurant was famous for its views. But waitress told that all tables with views was under reservation. A little bit strange attention. We have been served very fast. We have chosen Beef entrecore, grilled cheese and some king of pasta. Only the pasta was really good one. Entrecote was with bone and was almost impossible to eat. The cheese was not grilled but was just melted on a thin piece of crispy bread. At the end we waited long time while we were able to pay attention to bring us a bill. After we've paid we also long waited to get change. Those tables that we were told been reserved at the moment of leaving 20:15 were still free."

"This was the best place to eat for our whole trip in Sardinia. It was a pity that we couldn't repeat it. The food and service are very good and the price is so much cheaper than the cities on the coast. We drove 30 minutes in each direction to dinner and didn't regret it. Book a table in advance. We went in October when people are few and the last table available."
