"The place was welcoming and the staff were very nice but the food really let it down. I ordered the Chicken Pasta Alfredo and it came with macaroni noodles that were thin like the ones you get in instant pasta pots and were either overcooked and mushy or reheated, overall it was bland. Though I must say the garlic bread that came with it was to die for! The food really didn't condone the price and I felt a bit ripped off by it but the staff made the experience a lot better so it feels right giving three stars still despite what I didn't like about the food."

"I ordered four meals, and all of them were quite nice. I only gave a four-star rating because the portion of ham and chips was disappointingly small, almost like it came from a wafer-thin package. The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated that they cleaned the tables promptly after customers left. However, I felt a little uneasy when we were required to pay for our order before the meals arrived; it felt like they didn't trust us. Would I go back? Yes, but I definitely won't be ordering the ham and chips next time."

"What a pleasant surprise. Had heard mixed reviews about this place so I went 2 Sundays In a row to check this place out. Sunday lunch and desert. Easily the best Sunday lunch in the area, yes the food is fantastic but also nice big tables, big plates, sharp knifes (some I've been do it's about as sharp as a butter knife). Lovely staff and reasonable price as well. Parking is very easy and already booking for next week. Well.done B8 Service: Dine in"

"We were pleasantly surprised and delighted by this restaurant during our overnight stop on the way to Snowdonia. The prices were very reasonable, but there was nothing budget about the room—it was immaculate, featuring a comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped bathroom with instant hot water. The staff were fantastic and the dining experience was excellent. I ordered a 16oz gammon steak, while others enjoyed a lovely curry, both of which I highly recommend trying. The bar was quite busy, but the atmosphere was friendly."

"Simply appalling experience from this restaurant. Firstly, we were given a grand total of 17 chips (yes I counted them as I couldn’t quite believe how small the portion was) that were cold, stale and clearly frozen chips that had been poorly reheated. The rice was coated in cinnamon and sickly to the taste. The chicken tikka masala was completely inedible it tasted like pure sugar and resembled the colour of beetroot soup bright purple! It was also stone cold. The lamb rogan Josh contained a few measly pieces of lamb that were dry and hard, and this dish also loaded with sugar but not as sweet as the masala thankfully as it was the only portion of the meal we were able to eat. The chicken tikka was 4 tiny pieces of dry, cold and hard chicken. No flavour whatsoever. Not edible. 4 small and greasy onion bargees were poor quality and also cold. Hands down the worst meal I have ever ordered. I have been trying to call the premise however they do not answer the phone. We are still hungry as we couldn’t eat 95% of what we ordered. A total waste of £50. I usually only leave reviews if I have something positive to say however I feel compelled to save others from this terrible restaurant hence why I am leaving this review.
