"In the centre of Brühl/Rheinland is the restaurant Taverna Plaka, for me a real show Greek . Together with our grandchildren we had so many doctors at a good lunch. The Taverna is located in the city on the left side of Uhlstraße and is not to be missed, in good weather the outdoor areas are mostly well visited and inside you will find pleasant and comfortable cool atmosphere. After you may have left behind the counter area, the restaurant opens to a considerable size and only now the dense, dark furniture can really look at you. All top clean, accentuating decoration and bright white tables welcome us and even the sculptures are so discreetly positioned that they do not overload and contribute to the harmonious overall image. We have always been friendly and open and you immediately notice the affection of children who always play the first violin. We have often chosen from the wide range of appetizers, the baked eggplants are in good memory for me, there are so many delicious things and a Taramas salad, Saganaki, grilled peperoni, thick white beans, etc., fortunately can not drive away hunger, but can stimulate very appetite! Unfortunately we have never taken a starter lunch, but we will do it on the next occasion, only beginners until you win. The main dishes were of excellent quality, whether fish or meat, it was always wonderfully prepared and very tasty. I liked myself with a Dorade, a Moussaka, a lamb crown, a lamb fillet, one of the many grilled plates offers or even a gyro with many Zaziki and rice noodles, always perfect and very sharp. The food was still kept in a pleasantly quiet atmosphere, at noon you meet employees of nearby banks and other companies and all are welcome and very attentive. Hectic and restlessness are completely unknown here, even a big plus for the Greek hosts. In recent times we haven't visited Taverna Plaka so often, our favorite Chinese is even more convenient for us because to reach directly via the children's park deck. On the next occasion I would like to go back here and enjoy the large appetizer plate with all kinds of delicacies. See you in Taverna Plaka."
