"Bring you tasty from the tender heart, I'd come back tomorrow Inside the square, inside the heart of Cerveteri. Inside the village. Barrel Osteria del Borgo is really egregious: inviting position, dress not too striking, indeed admiccant and characteristic in its propensity on the square. A fair number of tables to which the staff, very kind, pays maximum attention. The lady who is a customer has even moved the lavender with the descriptions of the first things, very large, to bring it exactly in front of me. I personally oriented myself to the dishes of the day with total satisfaction. First, however, the chef owed me a meatball with herbs in the dough, such as the thyme, which was really exquisite; only to open the dances. Then I chose a octopus with potato cream that surprised me: it was the typical seasoning from a life associated with meat but that the cook knew skillfully to reserve to a sea dish, it was great! Full-bodied, savory with selected olive groves ad hoc. The second dish is still present in the memory of my palate. A salmon in almond crust and orange with mayonnaise to soy... Well, he's loose in his mouth with softness. Almond crumbs, mixed with mayonnaise, were delicious and those orange curls... My little shoes didn't get prisoners. Dessert, white wine glass and coffee have given the final smile. Barrel may be part of the dangerous category of the revisited tavern, but in this case you won't have to worry, because the chef's kitchen is a non-conventional success. As soon as possible I will return and choose all the dishes that I missed today. Go and enjoy, but leave something to me. Francesco Bordi"

"we were taken by friends here while we were about 35 minutes drive away. they are basically going to the village, when the road becomes a dirt road that they continue and end here. it is a small connection of buildings, quite rustic with. some pretty cute families of swarms (yes really!) run around. there is no menu, you just go and get what they serve, and it's all totally fabulous. the owners are much in prove, really friendly, and it is a nice place to eat. antipasti of bruschetta, salami, cheese with a kind of obst jam on it lubricated (if they think it sounds like blunt, easy with it), and a rustic hearty tart a bit like a quiche, but more so. there were also 2 delicious dishes, a gerste salat and another one a dish of brot, cauliflower, wobbles and cheese that would cry the type of cache hugh fearnleywhittingstall for joy over. then followed a delicious pasta with sausage, then a meat course consisting of a delicious rare fryed beef, sliced wafer thin, and a divine venison casserole, flavored with lemon and juniper, plus some beautiful fennel roasted kartoffels. only wow. there were of course wee and water to wash everything. we also had puddings there was a choice of 3 and between us we have the chocolate brownie tart rich and luscious and also a local pancake / pudding that a bit like soft tocotti, filled with nuts and obst. both came with a saw and a strawberry jam. for 6 of us was the total bill 160 euro, which, when they ask me, was worth it for 3 hours unpredictable ice cream heaven. the additional attraction of the garden with the swarms broke it for the children (they could stand up and run around if they wanted and there was no huffing and puff over them), and the relaxed approach meant that it was easy to relax in italia on the first day. After lunch we also went down to the waterfalls that are well 45 minutes downhill, but it is worth (just make sure they have some reasonable shoes!)"
