"We had a nice stopover in this very typical restaurant, the human warmth and attention perfectly complemented an exceptional setting... First of all, the building, see photos, the desire to preserve the history of the place is obvious. The fireplace, the wooden arched door.... The tone is set while adding a contemporary touch to the very tasteful room. Summer and winter alike bode well for the future. And at the back, a superb sheltered and shaded indoor terrace, very green. Now let's talk about the best, the solar welcome of coralie which through its energy and intelligence manages the family orchestra of this company which clearly has a taste for good things. Local, quality products are highlighted with simplicity and the taste is there. Snails homemade extras, meats: free-range chicken with Camembert sauce, homemade fries, beef of exceptional tenderness, the knife has nothing to do. The cheeses and desserts are of the same level. A mention for the crumble whose cinnamon is perfectly measured. I would have tried the duck, but no longer hungry All for very good value for money. (see map in photo) This is not a tourist box. The clientele is essentially local, make no mistake... Parking is easy right next door, and free. If you go to the battlefield castle, which we did, this stop is more than recommended to avoid the tourist traps and the industrial restoration that is emerging everywhere.
