"We stayed here in june our first stop in france after arriving by car and what a great find .We had booked it through Logis. We have used their guide quite frequently in the past and have not been let down. The rooms are across the road from the restaurant in a little courtyard where the car can be parked off the road The rooms are very small but contain all that is required good beds, fresh cotton bed linen and a small shower with loads of hot water The rooms are cleaned daily and towels are changed then as well The rooms are up a steep stair and face the courtyard. We stayed 4 nights and it was very quiet even with other guests There are 5 rooms and 1 has a connecting door if you have a family. It was after lunchtime when we arrved but after settling in we had bread and cheese with of course the glass of the local red wine We decided to take the offer of half board as we like to have wine with our evening meal. The young lady chef in the restaurant was great and had a wide range of menu items on offer. The mise en bouche was a wonderful and unexpected touch to the start of our meal. The quality and variety of food was first class. The wine list has something for everybody The Logis pot system of accreditation deems this restaurant to be a one pot one which totally belies the true quality. When we spoke to the lady owner she said that they could not meet some of the criteria. For eample due to the size of the building, there is no pre meal seating area but we felt this was not an issue for us. There was a perfectly adequate breakfast available. The lady owner has good english, her husband has some english as well as a roguish sense of humour! If you are wanting a place to stay to visit first world war graves it is ideal."
