"Wer einfach ein gutes Steak essen will ist hier richtig. Wer dies allerdings in einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre genießen möchte sollte hier nicht einkehren. Wir waren zu zweit und haben rechtzeitig reserviert. Gerade mit mehreren Leuten empfehle ich eine rechtzeitige Reservierung weil das Restaurant sehr voll ist. Aufgrund des Essens verstehe ich es......aufgrund des Services nicht. Das Rumpsteak mit selbstgemachten Pommes (waren zwar eher Chips aber lecker) war perfekt gebraten. Alles Speisen die ich gesehen habe sahen auch sehr gut aus. Alles zunichte macht allerdings der Service. Zum Nachtisch bestellten wir Espresso mit Tiramisu. Weil nicht klar war ob es Tiramisu gibt wollte die Servicekraft dieses erfragen. Es gab keine Rückmeldung aber dafür kam der Espresso.....und nach einer Viertelstunde dann Tiramisu.... ! Gemeinsam wäre es schon schön gewesen...... Rückfragen diesbezüglich waren schlecht möglich weil eine Mischung aus Hektik und Überforderung vorherrschte. Es wäre schon wenn vielleicht nicht so viele Gäste durchgeschleust werden und man dafür mehr beim Gast ist (und nicht nur bei denen die persönlich bekannt sind). Dann hat man auch Lust dort noch Getränke etc. zu bestellen. Wir wollten nur noch schnell zahlen und weg. Weil wir selbst beim Bezahlvorgang kaum wahrgenommen wurden schien das auch ganz Recht zu sein. Es wurde immerhin wieder ein Tisch frei........."

"A relaxing walk along the sea from Fort Kugelbake, to ball beacon and then to the Ahoi in Duhnen made appetite for a coffee and ice cream with the most beautiful sunshine and almost early temperatures. So what was closer, not in Duhnen, to visit the “Eiscafé Capri” near the beach. "On holiday you can sleep. For example, during our annual holiday in Cuxland it will be a tradition to visit the cafés of the region. Actually, our destination was the café “Toffoli” in the old town of Cuxhaven, but we had to find that this place was closed in winter. So we went back to the city centre, to the famous café “Da Dalto”. In the beautifully decorated “Da Dalto” there were some free tables. In a small corner bench there was also a little rough lady in front of us. “Because what was found?” – No, we haven’t even opened the map yet. So she wears back and shimmers through the café. The rich card is quickly leafed, and for us it is clear that it should be something fruity. Our group service noticed that we have finished our selection and have come to our place. “But now” was her first sentence. Jaaaa... now we have it after a few minutes. In each supermarket there are fresh fruits and I'm sorry, over half the ice cream card consists of cups with fresh fruits. Then a winter card. "The last evening of our annual winter holiday in the Cuxland in 2017 had begun, and out of the refrigerator in the chic holiday cottage we jumped out a shining void. So what was closer was to drive the few kilometers to Cuxhaven and to sneak fresh fish there again. Since we wanted to conquer the old fishing harbour, this was of course our first goal. However, the disappointment quickly widened, except for the “Fishbörse”, where we were already at lunch one day before, all other fish restaurants had closed for the evening. Okay, so the few meters walked to the “Loyds”, but this store was full of breaks on Friday night. So there was nothing left to us to run until the new fishing port. There we were now facing several opened guest roses, and we chose “The Little Fish Box” which we visited last year. Menu So in the fish box, and there was almost everything occupied for Friday night. Immediately at the entrance there was a table for us four, so we took it, although it wasn't liked us so directly at the door. This also seemed to have been noticed by the service, because it offered us to take another place where the guests had paid. Prices are significantly higher than in the old fishing port, but also one of the few restaurants that have opened in this corner in the evening. Only the service should remember that the customer pays their wages. We already had the same problem in 2014. The food has partially improved into the positive, the service still lags behind. And in the future, please do not use any flavor enhancers. We don't need that!"

Aber vll doch ein Hinweis für die Gastgeber...obwohl wir es am Abend bereits erwähnt hatten, dass das eine Aneinanderreihung von vll unglücklichen Umständen war. Wir waren zu zweit an einem späten Samstag Abend dort. Im Außenbereich. Gertränkeorder und der anschließende Erhalt dieser hat einfach schon viel zu lange gedauert. Ersten Entschuldigungen ok. Erhalt des Essens hat leider auch etwa 45 min gedauert. 1 Essen kam vollständig. Der . Leider muss ich dazu direkt sagen, geht gar nicht. Überdenkt eurer Rezept. 2 Patties, frikadellenähnlich. Total durch. Hart. Kross. Tomate, Gewürzgurken, Salat, Ketchup, Mayonnaise dünn auf den Bun gestrichen. Simples Bun, kein Brioch oder ähnliches. Pommes war dagegen top, aber in überschaubarer Menge. 2. Essen Wiener Schnitzel. Erst kam das blanke Schnitzel. Keine Garnitur. Pommes kamen etwa 10 Minuten später. Schnitzel damit kalt. Pommes heiß. Schien ein Kalbsschnitzel zu sein. Aber kein Genuss bei der Reihenfolge. Tja, ich würde sagen, schade Jungs. Nehmt die Kritik ernst. Tolle Location. Macht was draus. Arbeitet an den Abläufen. Entschuldigungen sind sicher notwendig und ehrlich, aber einfach manchmal nicht ausreichend. Wir bekamen einen Prosecco als Aufmerksamkeit. Ich wünsche euch viel Erfolg. Nehmt die Kritik als Ansporn. Irgendwann komme ich nochmal zum Testen. Mein Freund leider nicht. Der war übelst enttäuscht."
