"a fantastic sound thanks to google. it was a wet, miserable day and we had to go to lunch somewhere after we had just arrived from osbourne house. it is recommended that the people book a table as this is a small institution and while we had no booking, we were happy that they could impress us. the staff was fantastic courtesy and attentive. the manager, who also trained another team of employees, did so quiet, even if it was busy. the food came quickly and was hot when it arrived, serving here the part of the food for children. not too heavy, as my daughter eats only pasta with butter. the device to this place is great. there was a toilet and it was clean. well decorated. remember to enjoy this place booking is advisable to avoid disappointment."

"I had a wonderful two-night stay at Albert Cottage Hotel with five of my girlfriends. The staff, especially Phil, made us feel very welcome and were incredibly helpful and cheerful. We must thank the chef and kitchen staff for providing us with first-class meals. The spacious rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. I can’t wait to return for a longer stay at Albert Cottage Hotel soon (Phil, we’ll make sure to fully study the bus timetable next time!). Rooms: 5"

"If you enjoy having your food reheated in the microwave or oven until it's lukewarm, then this is the place for you. However, I found the food to be excessively greasy and left a unpleasant taste in my mouth. Although the delivery service was prompt, it was the only reason I rated this restaurant 2 stars. We will not be ordering from here again and will advise our friends and family to do the same. In response to the restaurant's reply, I appreciate them taking the time to respond. However, I stand by my opinion that the food should arrive hot, especially considering the short distance it needs to travel. Despite accusations of trying to harm the community, I am simply sharing my experience and entitled to my own opinions. I have now downgraded my rating to 1 star as it seems I am being discouraged from sharing honest feedback."

"Date of Visit : 5th and 6th May 2023. Location: The location is very convenient, only one minute drive from the exit point (Isle of Wight) of Red Funnel Ferry and may be 4 minutes’ walk. Come out of the Ferry, go straight, and take the third exit from the roundabout, then turn left (Restaurant is on right hand side – one way). Plenty of Council Control Car Park that can be used. Food: The food was really delicious, and you can find varieties of Veg and Non-Veg options. You can also request food either to be spicy or less spicy depends on your choice and they will be happy to do so. Quality: Food quality was brilliant, and portion is really better. Price: I must say the prices were really great, and for group of 4 Adults it only cost us £60. Staff: All the Staff members of Restaurant were really helpful and made our experience pleasant. They were interactive and guide us with places to visit. I must add they have great patience level, as it took a while for us to decide on our order. I had a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this Restaurant to others."

"Do not let the exterior or location put you off or cause you doubt. Booked a table for 4 roast dinners on a Sunday during the August bank holiday weekend. Booked via Facebook messenger, which was answered really quickly. Staff are lovely, friendly, and welcoming. Modern decor inside, though we didn't venture into the garden, I would assume it would be equally modern and comfortable. Food was served quickly and disappeared just as quickly......it was delicious. Nice suprise to have macaroni cheese and cream leeks as a side along with swede mash, brocoli, and carrots to complete our Roast Beef/Slow cooked Gammon. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area or even the Island. The evening menu looked very nice and different from the usual pub menu....if we only had a few more days we would of been back to sample more. Best of all, it was dog friendly !!!! Kid-friendliness: They had high chairs, colouring pencils, and paper. (we didn't have kids with us, so I can't comment further) Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast Beef"
