"I've dined at this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed my meals. However, today I was deeply disappointed with the response I received from the restaurant manager, who I felt was extremely unprofessional. My dad ordered the battered fish with a green salad, and while eating, he found a piece of stringy plastic in his salad, which he had to remove from his mouth. I called a waitress over to show her the issue, and she informed the manager. When the manager came over, I showed her the plastic. Instead of addressing our concern appropriately, she picked it up and insisted it didn’t come from the kitchen, apologized, and then walked away! I left feeling as though she implied we had planted the plastic ourselves. A professional response would have involved checking on my dad's well-being since he had nearly eaten it, discussing it with the head chef, and at least offering to remove the cost of the salad as a courtesy. I certainly won't be returning anytime soon!"
