"We chose this place to stay for the first night of our holiday as it was convenient for the Nehaven-Dieppe ferry and we always like to get the holiday off to a good start with a memorable meal. We made the perfect choice! The room was on the smallish side but clean and comfortable. This is definitely a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel with a restaurant. It is situated on the main road of the village but we were able to relax quietly in the garden and didn't experience any undue traffic noise during the night. The meal was excellent - imaginative tasty cooking with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. I would describe the style of cooking as contemporary but it is proper food - not lots of foam and froth! we chose from the menu de saison and had an exquisite pigeon dish for our main course and well kept cheeses instead of dessert. We would return if we were in this area and recommend it to friends. On a Monday evening it was busy and there were some local people in - always a good sign. We had 3 courses, lots of wine, coffees etc and the bill came to approx 160 euros."
