"It is rare that I 'll try Asian kitchens in small towns villages just because of the disappointing lack of success I 've had previously. However, I decided to give this restaurant a go based on the reviews. I was excited at the prospect that perhaps I would finally find an authentic and tasty asian kitchen in somewhere outside of Stuttgart! However, authentic it was not and while it was not unedible, it certainly wasn 't quite as tasty as I hoped for. I walked into the place and thought how it seemed like a very stereotypical Asian kitchen but decided to be a bit more open minded. After all, I wasn 't going to eat the decor. My friend and I both ordered the Pho Bo and also some fried vegetarian spring rolls. In hindsight, perhaps we should have tried the traditional summer rolls but I was in the mood for something fried dipped in sweet and sour sauce. The spring rolls were 1,50 which probably explained their awful quality. Edible but meh. The Pho Bo is a staple that any restaurant branding itself as Vietnamese should do well. It 's like going to a chinese restaurant and getting rice (well, you get the picture I know, it 's not as easy as cooking rice). But this pho came with no garnishes, just a wedge of lemon and some hot sauce. Well, that must mean there was lots of herbs in the soup already...well, not more than usual. Just lots of spring onion, ginger and maybe some mint. The broth itself was lacking something it was perfectly tasty but not Pho broth as I know it. The beef was very tasty but it was evidently prepared beforehand, fried and then thrown in. Still, kudos for the meat tender and great to dip in the chilli sauce. I wasn 't sure whether I should give it two or three stars I will most likely never go back. I wasn 't wowed and it has reinforced the idea that genuine asian kitchen just cannot seem to be found in small German towns. So, go if you want something quick and cheap but don 't expect any authenticity."

"Conclusion for fast readers in advance Here is still quite traditionally cooked. If you like a table, I can recommend it for à la carte and other occasions. Location and directions The traditional family restaurant since 1928 is located on one of the hills of the forest-rich Schillerhöhe, between Schloss Solitude and Leonberg, in the immediate vicinity of the headquarters of Robert Bosch GmbH. A detailed description of the journey can be found at [here link]. There are plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, some of them on a forest path covered by trees very pleasant in today's heat of 30°. Hiking and cycling trails for their users are the SchillerHöhe for a small break. The different rooms with terrace seven in the number are furnished from pleasant rustic to modern. Here all find something suitable: [here link] For the small visitors there is an appealing playground. The house has always been known for its feel-good atmosphere and good-bourgeois cuisine of the upper level. This also confirms that the amazing number of visitors set the restaurant this afternoon was occupied at least 75% at about 250 available places. The many Swabian status symbols with star on the parking spaces speak a clear language. Service Two services and a young waiter served only on the large terrace. My table also fell within his jurisdiction and I was fully satisfied with him. He made a competent impression, spoke and answered my questions, served me well my softwood wheat together with the home brochure and the desired business card. When I answered his question “has’s tasted” with no, he was short, but then was visibly relieved when I added “it tasted very good”, a scrap eats nothing that already tastes, smells high German. Offer and consumption The offer in the different menus [here link] is very remarkable. From petty-bourgeois, deicy, Swabian home cooking, rust roasts, wild and mushrooms you will also find dishes with international touch, something for everyone. The matching Swabian wines are already served in the menu. I chose dinner 8,50 € · Daughter table spit with horseradish cream sauce, roast potatoes and cranberries The table top perfectly cooked, the horseradish sauce very well lubricated, wonderfully roasted potatoes with small bacon cubes and what is rarely served here is cranberry compot on a small triangle of the watermelon. All in all a delicious lunch that left nothing to be desired. For 8,50 € a price ratio where there is nothing to complain. The soft-free Sanwald wine is now part of the Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu GmbH Co. KG and was very good at it and was acceptable at € 3.40. Cleanliness All the rooms I saw, including the men's toilet were pieksauber and made a well-kept impression."
