"Gutes griechisches Restaurant. Ich war hier zum Mittagessen mitten in der Woche. Der Innen- und auch der Außenbereich waren sehr gut besucht. Angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Personal. Die Inneneinrichtung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ich habe mich für das Lammfilet mit brauner Soße, Kartoffeln aus dem Backofen und gemischtem Salat entschieden. Das Fleisch war von sehr guter Qualität und wunderbar zart. Leider wurde das Fleisch in der mit den Kartoffeln vermischten braunen Soße serviert. Hier empfiehlt sich ein dreigeteilter Teller. Das würde das Gericht optisch und geschmacklich aufwerten. Die Kartoffeln waren perfekt gegart und die Soße war nahezu geschmacksneutral. Der gemischte Salat war Standard-Niveau. Ich denke man könnte mit wenig Aufwand das Restaurant zum einem Edel-Griechen aufwerten. Hierzu gehört dann natürlich auch ein Update des Innenbereiches.Fazit: In Sachen Fleisch zu empfehlen."

Das Niveau der italienischen Restaurants/Pizzerien in Gießen ist schwach und damit es reicht nach Nudelstube für den 2. Platz. Lokal: Ausserhalb des Zentrums in einem Trakt mit anderen Geschäften. Die Einrichtung typisch für viele Familien-Restaurants in Italien also ohne Geschmack aber authentisch. Geeignet fürs kommen mit der Familie. Romantischer Abend oder Businessessen fallen aus. Service: nur ok. Bierauswahl (vom Fass): Licher also ok. Weinauswahl: nur ok. Küche also das Wichtigste: Das Produkt entspricht der deutschen Vorstellung einer Pizza und für einen normalen Deutschen ist gut. Die Bewertung der 4 wichtigsten Komponente der perfekten Pizza sieht wie folgt aus: Teig nur 3 (ist nicht leicht und Rande muss man lassen), Sauce 3 (zu wenig saftig), Käse 3+, Zutaten und Kompositionen 3 (vor allem Salami könnte besser sein). Olivenöl schwacher Qualität.Preisleistungsverhältnis: Pizza kostet 7-9,50 also ok für die 30 cm Pizza. BofG - Wiederkommen/Empfehlungsfaktor (0-100%): 40% ich komme wenn ich muss."

"Mega-Tandur ist die rettende Insel vieler Gießener Studenten auf dem Weg von den Feiern nach Hause.Hier bekommt man fast rund um die Uhr bestes essen aus dem Steinofen geboten.Da das Brot für die Döner frisch gebacken wird ist es sehr lecker und kross.Das Fleisch ist meiner Meinung nach das beste in Gießen.Ich vermute es ist Kalbfleisch und nicht dieses dunkle Hackfleisch was viele andere Gießener Döner anbieten.Hier gibt es auch kein "Schubladenfleisch".Mittags wir nachts ist der Tandur ziemlich voll.Sehr zu empfehlen sind hier die Suppen, das Pide, die Pizza und natürlich der Döner / Lamacun!Aufpassen sollte man mit dem scharfen Gewürz auf den Tischen,Hier ist es wirklich scharf, aber die Erfahrung muss jeder min. Die Preise auf der Speisekarte ist für die kleinen Pizzas, die großen Pizzas kosten alle 2 Euro mehr.Das Personal hat sich untereinander recht laut unterhalten, zu mir waren sie sehr freundlich.Meine Pizza Peperoni Wurst war nach 10 da und sehr gut. Super war, dass die Bedienung gefragt hat woran es lag und sich dann dafür Entschuldigte nicht gefragt zu haben wie ich mein Fleisch will. Haben trotzdem den vollen Preis gezahlt...Naja wir hatten wieder lust auf Burger und dachten wir geben dem ganzen eine zweite Chance, weil wir nach Frankfurt fahren wollten.Was soll ich sagen, wieder halb rohes Fleisch. Der Käse hat ganz seltsam geschmeckt und die Pommes waren glaub ich nur die Reste die ganz unten lagen. Kleine dünne Endstücke.Wie gesagt es ist alles Geschmackssache, aber wir fahren wieder nach Frankfurt wenn wir einen Guten Burger essen wollen."

"So the evening was really fabulous! Top service and delicious food. As an appetizer we had the Knoblau Dip with bread there I could have put myself in! The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and on garlic I am totally standing. I can only recommend the Spanish potatoes. The chicken is beautifully tender inside and crispy outside perfectly! My friend loved his squid!
