"We were passing by in this area and went there for lunch. Arrived there at 11:40, all tables were empty except one. After a quick look into the menu of the day we ordered the chicken with salad and the burger with salad, as mentioned from the menu of the day, not from the full menu. 4 piece of bread and the water were served quite quick, but then the big waiting started. One salad arrived at 12:00. Then nothing happened. We saw other tables which have arrived later had got some food, so we tried to get the attention of a waiter. Finally, at 12:25 we could get the attention and he asked whether everything is fine (maybe he could see my face was no more that relaxed). I said no, we are still waiting for our lunch. He went off to check and answered he doesn't know where it is. So I said he should not bother if it is not cooked yet, we would go and eat somewhere else. Then suddenly the lunch should arrive within 2 minutes. Surprisingly it did. But what shall I say... the burger was for sure not worth waiting 45 minutes. The meat was still slightly red, which I am very fine with personally. But it should be warm, which it wasn't. The burger had roughly the same temperature as the air on this nice and sunny summer day. So I am still wondering whether the preparation was done in 2 minutes or whether it was l lying there somewhere in the sun for 40 minutes. The chicken was ok, although the chicken takeaway around the corner serves the tastier ones.Unfortunately a quite disappointing experience. Paying 27 Swiss franc for waiting 45 minutes for a cold burger with a small menu salad with 3dl of water.I thought a restaurant with the reputation of Mövenpick would serve something better than one of the franchise burger companies everywhere..."
