"huge, fresh, beautiful buffet. lots of options, delicious Crispy seaweed! large parking space. it has plastic gloves for them to grab the tongs. they can have as many runs as they want and their tellers will be picked up immediately after standing up for more. very clean, helpful staff and eat for everyone."

"We've spent £25 on 3 pizzas tonight (and that was using buy 1 get 1 half price deal). 20 minutes after ordering we received a phonecall saying there was no garlic paste which was no big deal, we changed from garlic and cheese bread to margharita pizza. An hour and a half later 2 pizzas arrived! I phoned immediately and was told they'd realised the margharita wasn't packed and would get sent out by another driver. It took 30 minutes to arrive. Overall the pizzas were not of the usual standard for jasmine pizzas. Chicken chasni one hardly had any sauce on the base. And the pepperoni pizzas and margharita were over cooked and dry."

"Food sent back twice. Cam back and not yet cooked as desired. The staff couldn't care less. Children walk and scream everywhere. Even in the back bar. I didn't even ask if I enjoyed my meal. Obviously not. I didn't want Dessert. I'm waiting for the bill. I had to go upstairs when no one came back. Trash and food."

"Stayed at the Gilvenbank this weekend as we were attending a wedding at Balbarnie House. The hotel is lovely but the rooms were very basic. The pillows were paper thin, the curtains were so thin the light shone through and the bathroom was dangerous. I stood in the bath to have a shower and within seconds was on the floor of it as the non slip stuff on the bottom of the bath was non existent and clearly hadnt been cleaned properly. I ended up attending the wedding with a huge bruise on my arm and limping as I 've got a huge black bruise on my bottom and leg. I spoke to reception and I 've emailed the hotel manager and not heard a thing back. Reception said they couldn 't do anything as we paid before we arrived and the manager wasn 't in at the time. Our other friends rooms had marks on the walls, tvs that were smaller than your phones and didn 't work and beds that they had to push together themselves and the rooms were so dark they had to have their lights on all the time. On the Saturday night the reception staff told us there was a party that would be finishing at 11. This party was still going at midnight with guests standing outside shouting until 12.45 am. The patio doors in our room didn 't shut properly so we could hear everything. It was like they were in our room and the music thunder through the floors of the room to the point we could sing along. When we rang down to complain were just told it 'll wrap up soon . The bar staff were lovely, the food was nice, the location was perfect for our visit and the staff did get us more pillows and an iron when we asked for them. Just found it disappointing that I reported I 'd been hurt in their hotel and it was shrugged off and that we couldn 't sleep because of the party that finished nearly 2 hours after they told us Would stay there again if ever in the area as it was clean and these things could be easily resolved."

"Went for the Sunday carvery, 5.15pm no beef or chicken left, was told once its finished there's no more even though its advertised 12-6pm, very disappointed, took the steak ale pie couldn't find the meat it was all gravy, no dessert I wanted either although still on the menu, needles to say won't be back Parking: Not many disabled parking near door Meal type: Dinner"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time last Friday and I will definitely be back. The service was excellent, the meal type was dine-in, and the price per person was between £20-30. I rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Butter Chicken, Chicken Pakora, Lamb Jalfreszi, Jalfrezi, and South Indian Garlic Chilli dishes."

"JUST ANOTHER PLACE TO ADD TO A RIP OFF BRITAIN. Served up Super micro small proportions of food FOR SUPER LUDICROUS HUMUNGUS PRICE and to which were so thin they were burnt and dried out. Not to mention got my order wrong and when asked for a refund owner rudely refused. Fully disgusting and would recommend you give this place a huge wide birth. Parking: Had to park round corner and use the other parking facilities out side the local co-op. Not practical at all. Wheelchair accessibility: They had none, had to walk round corner from local co-op before you could even see the place."

"I visited this afternoon for lunch with my family after hearing they do gluten free foods. I am coeliac so have to be very careful where I eat, after a few horrid experiences I’m quite nervous about eating out. The Tipsy Nipper was great, a whole dedicated gluten free menu which includes chips (fried separately) and apple crumble! All staff were very knowledgeable and I am led to believe the chef is gluten free also. Food was really good, very filling and good portions. Kids food was good too! The restaurant itself was very clean as were the facilities! All the staff were great, especially with me and all my questions! Thank you, Will defo recommend and be back!"

"On arrival one receptionist at desk taking bookings on computer/telephone, long wait, didn 't feel at all welcomed. Food good. Service at table good but not attentive after food was served. At times no staff in Bistro at all. Coffee in drawing room good but lack of staff presence and warmth. Room lacks atmosphere and is full. No one to show us how to get to drawing room. Whole experience lacked warmth. Lack of ambience throughout. Been before and had a better experience but on Saturday 's experience I would think twice before returning."

"If you are traveling to London you must stop for tea! This lovely restaurant is on the grounds of Kensington Palace. The waitstaff has always been top notch. The food, especially the butternut squash soup, is very nice. I cannot wait to return."
