"Seeing as I don’t live too far from this pub, I thought i would check it out... Firstly, the beer garden is very big, but could do with some work (particularly at the back) as some of the benches and trampolines were broken. There’s an area in the beer garden where you can order bbq cooked food which was cool. Extra toilets located outside was handy (especially for those who don’t want to be inside the pub for long). Saved us walking back to the pub every time we needed a toilet. I must say, it was very difficult for them to find us a menu. We weren’t given a menu despite asking the first time and it was only after the second time we asked that they manage to find us one which wasn’t ideal. When receiving our food in the beer garden, we were served our food before we got our gravy (so the waiter had to go back to the pub before we could complete our meal). Due to the distance and time we had to wait for this, some of our food got cold. Overall, prices were standard, decent little location, big beer garden, staff were friendly enough and the food portions were good. Overall not a bad little pub."
