"Not having been since the previous owners had it I wasn’t sure what I would find. The man with the colourful shirt had great personality , welcoming, thoughtful providing crayons/colouring for the children without being asked) we had the Freckles! Chilli chicken , amazing scotch eggs for starters followed by chicken roast, tender chicken amazing roast potatoes , tasty bouncy Yorkshire puds great veg, one of us had lamb again perfectly cooked. We forced down desserts and managed after champagne and sav blanc to get out the door! Great place with friendly staff fab food we will be back soon!
