"We arrived without a reservation but got a table for an hour - if we are fast enough. I told them that it depends on their cooking speed but we should be OK so we got the table. Then we waited... at some point we got the menu and ordered. The food arrived quite fast with the drinks but without any friendly service. The food was OK but NOTHING special: Pizza Calzone: basic, nothing special. Lasagne: boring standard, at least sizzling hot. The salad was OK but very little of everything (olives, eggs, artichokes, ... ), fresh with some standard dressing. The risotto was a disappointment, plain taste with long grain rice and not what it should be Arborio or similar. After we finished we again waited for the service as we wanted some dessert. After we complained the waitress got to us and, gratefully, accepted our order for Tiramisu.... which we should have skipped and straight away left the place. The Tiramisu was sponge cake with whipped cream and some coca over it. Really bad!!!We weren't really finished with the Tiramisu when we were removed from our tables as the next were arriving... as I said, we could have easily made it hadn't it been for their speed. Our neighbor's table (some local glider club president) got full speed service and entertainment from two of the staff (or even the owners) so the conclusion for us is:food is mediocre, service is only OK if you are a local celebrity so only go there if you are a local celebrity. We won't come back - although the interior is quite nice."

"Friday in Bavaria there are fish. I remember today the land that raves, which, in addition to specialties from the old-fashioned lamb, also has fresh fish on the map. The latter originates from the fish farming of regelmannsbrunn. from the outside the farm makes a clean and welcoming impression. Parking is abundant. in front of the gasthof there is also a terrace that has not been operated today at the low temperatures. inside the dining room is bright and friendly, with a lot of bright wood and tasteful decoration. on the tables are clean fabric tablecloths and medium ceilings, a small vase with fresh cut flowers serves as table decoration. we were the first guests and were welcomed immediately. the service was made today by two young services, pretty dressed in stylish dirt. always friendly, attentive and flink. the menu offers numerous tassels from the old-fashioned lamb, for example the lamb panders Bartholomääh, lambbread sausage, meat plants, roast medaillons and lamb fillet. In addition to the usual dressings of the Bavarian and German cuisine of soups, appetizers, broth, main dishes and desserts, fish and vegetarian meals are also on the map. Today there were three different trout dishes also seaweed, wild salmon and zander. as an appetizer today we took Garlauchbrote (3.50 euros). three roasted white bread with garlic butter and with tomato pieces. the garlic was freshly chopped and the broth tasted excellent. the smoked trout with roast potatoes (14.90 euros was warm and had a great aroma for waxed berries. the fish was delicate and very good in taste, but with the bones you must be careful. the brat potatoes were beautifully roasted, but slightly salted out therefore easier to take off points. in a small valley there were still some stratisfied Merrettich creams down the freshly grated Merrettich, on which the beats saw. the fillet of wild salmon with a fairy-blue cream (13.90 euros was practically free from bones. the fish of a somewhat firmer texture than the trout, formed a beautiful color contrast to the greenish beard sauce. that was great for salmon and salt potatoes. beautifully aromatic with not too much. an apfelschorle (0.4 ltr. proposes to book with passionate 3.30 euros. Conclusion: A visit to the raven is highly recommended and the next time I look forward to..."
