"Nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard en croyant encore tomber sur un resto cher et pas top.. et bien pas du tout , une magnifique découverte !! Nous n'avions pas réservés et avons eu une table de justesse et nous avons compris pourquoi il avait tant de succès. Certes les prix sont assez chers, mais pour le cadre et la qualité cela vaut la peine. Des plats succulents, menus enfants au top. Et desserts .. hummm.. bref une très agréable surprise. À faire. Et un personnel très attentionné, un petit oubli pour nos cafés et un geste commercial pour s'excuser du désagrément. Très bon moment. BRAVO pour votre restaurant."

"I'm really not addicted to industrial and commercial areas. There are better places like...the city center for example. Especially to go out at night. And then I spent every day in front of this large building still under construction knowing that it would be a new brewery. Another one I said. Yeah, except that given the size of the warehouse, it was a real and not a simple flow rate. And then, without chauvinism, really none, it's brewed to the source water from here. So... helping security... anyway. As you doubt otherwise I will not be able to write this review, I have tested. "Nous avions déjà diner dans ce restaurant et avions apprécié l'accueil et la cuisine. Nous décidons d'y retourner. Arrivés sans réserver nous demandons si nous pouvions diner. Après acceptation, nous prenons place et attendons qu'on nous apporte la carte. Après 25 minutes d'attente et des tentatives désespérées d'attirer l'attention des 3 serveuses, on nous l'apporte enfin. Après 10 minutes, nous passons la commande (une côte de porc et un demi-pigeon) et continuons notre attente. Après 30 minutes d'attente et après que nos voisins de table, arrivés après nous ont terminé leur plats, nous allons voir la serveuse lui donnant 5 minutes pour nous servir. Le temps étant passé nous quittons le restaurant! Je crois que le service est sérieusement à revoir et j'accepte de patienter à condition d'être averti et considéré. Dommage!"

"Buffet avec choix important de mets. Chacun se sert à volonté... Donc, ce n'est pas de la grande cuisine, forcément! Ce n'est pas le genre de restaurant que j'affectionne car je recherche des produits frais et bien cuisinés. J'ai mis "moyen" comme note car certaines personnes se contentent de ce genre de nourriture qui plus est, à volonté. Mais ce n'est pas mon cas: je recherche, lorsque je vais au restaurant, de la qualité et non de la quantité. Personnellement, je mettrais la note de "médiocre" (je ne le fais pas car ce n'est pas non plus mauvais comme nourriture, même si ce n'est pas "terrible"!)."

"Nouvelle carte, nouvelle déco, horaires pour venir récupérer la commande impeccablement rspectés à chaque fois et plats délicieux... Nos ados et nous y mangerions volontiers tous les jours. Accompanied by our young dog, 4 months old, we feared that he would be an obstacle, the carpet being superb, and our room stunning with all these details which make you a distinguished guest, decoration, small coffee maker, branded espadrilles/slippers from the hotel..Refined and copious breakfast. What more can be said ? Thank you..For the kindness of our hosts (and to the young man who provided us with a duplicate of the pass forgotten in the room), and for this delicate attention to our puppy who was offered a treat . "Nous y sommes allés les yeux fermés ou presque, après avoir lu les avis trip advisor. La nourriture était très bonne et le prix raisonnable. L endroit est très sympa et l ambiance aussi (un guitariste "bossa nova" était la lors de notre passage", et c était très sympa). Seul bémol, le service. Bien que conviviale, l équipe semblait assez désorganisée (2 serveurs nous ont demander 2 fois si nous avions passé commande pour l apéritif, pas moins de 3 serveurs se sont occupés de nous et les desserts et l attente a été de près de 40 minutes entre la fin des plats et les desserts) et ça c est dommage car tout s était bien passé sinon. Bin repas malgré cela."

"Panorama du Pyla is a superb camp site, it's on the south side of the dune, and seemingly half way up, and what's good about it is that there are great sea views from the site. The restaurant is situated in a prime spot in the site and has a large terrace with sea views, Cap Ferrat and the sand bars in between adding interest.This year we stayed for two nights and ate here three times. The meal that stood out was the lunch we ate prior to leaving. The meal was perfect for the very hot day it was. Lunch is no choice with 3 courses with wine and coffee at just under 20 euros. Starting with Carpaccio of St Jacques with agrumées; thinly sliced raw marinated scallops on thinly sliced pieces of orange, with pink grapefruit segments around the outside of the plate. It looked as if it wouldn't work but the marinated scallops combined wonderfully with the orange, totally refreshing and just the thing for a hot day. The main course was linguini with veal in white- wine sauce, sun dried tomatoes, excellent pesto and baked parmesan. Again, this was excellent, light but full of flavour. Pudding was red fruit gratin with vanilla ice cream, generous in quantity and served with good quality ice cream.The lunch we had last September was equally good, but what I can't understand is why lunch seems so much better than dinner. Of course, at dinner time the restaurant comes into its own. There's a wonderful view, and the sun sets into the sea, but this comes at a price that I don't think the food alone justifies. Apart from specials and pizzas, there are no main course dishes under 20 Euros. Amongst the dishes we ate at dinner were: six oysters, very good and reasonably priced, a starter of foie gras and caramelised apple, possibly trying too hard, a goat's cheese parcel with crispy cooked ham, and pizza and andouillette (not together) as main courses. Everything was perfectly acceptable, but nothing really set the tower alight. Service was very friendly, almost perfect and what was impressive was how things were put right when a couple of mistakes were made. My partner booked a table for both evenings, but on the second evening our booking had been put into a page in the diary for the following evening. The restaurant was full but we were given a good table quickly with a minimum of fuss. I also ended up with the wrong starter – it could have well been my pronunciation – but this was changed without a moment’s hesitation.The only sour note was sounded on the first note at the start of our first meal by a waiter who was insistent I should order a bottle of wine not a carafe. Unfortunately he was like a terrier and wouldn’t let go. It put me in a bad mood for much of my meal – I was still grumpy as I ate my andouillette and chips, thinking that this was a more appropriate dish for a lunch time menu than an evening meal with a spectacular view. I was thinking of the 130 euro bill we came away with in September for a meal that didn't justify the cost and was trying to be careful as we had nearly two weeks left in France and had other places to eat at. I’d like to say this place is over-priced at dinner time, but that argument doesn’t hold up because the restaurant was full or virtually full both evenings we were there. Lunch on the other hand is an absolute bargain.Why did you return? I hear the question. You can't beat the campsite for location, and my partner loves the place."

"Pour une fois que je ne consulte pas trip adviso avant de m'assoir!Déjà l'accueil: la patronne nous regarde de bas en haut et nous dit "ce sera deux menus à 15 €!", comme si bermuda et baskets nous interdisaient de manger plus cher ou à la carte.Pour faire court: les huîtres étaient laiteuses et ne réagissaient ni sous l'effet du citron ou de la pointe du couteau (heureusement pas de gastro dans les heures qui suivirent), ma compagne s'est forcée pour les manger alors qu'elle les adore;ma salade nicoise était insipide, avec des feuilles de salade noircies, mes moules marinières étaient sans sauce, sèches avec du persil en quantité, et les frites étaient à la fois molles et pas assez cuites.En conclusion, le plus mauvais restaurant dans lequel j'ai mis les pieds depuis une éternité."

"Restaurant basé sur une ancienne station service ce qui rend le cadre assez original et sympathique. La decoration et le service de table sont agréables.Côté carte pas mal de choix avec des menus a 26€ et 38€ et barbecue le jeudi soir qui est fort alléchant.Nous avons pris le menu a 26€ qui propose 5 choix très appétissants pour chaque plat.Le foie gras est de bon goût et la salade de saumon cru fait découvrir de belles saveurs.Côté plat de résistance nous avons tous les 3 pris le mini roti de boeuf sauce bordelaise et le choix fût bon car ce fut un régal. Juste un petit bémol avec les 2 cuissons bleu qui n'ont pas été respectées mais même avec cela le plat était vraiment très bon.Enfin côté dessert le carpaccio d'ananas au vieux rhum passe comme une lettre a la poste ainsi que le feuilleté aux fraises qui n'eqt pas resté longtemps dans l'assiette.Avec un service très souriant, agréable et entièrement à notre disposition et ce pour un prix de 42 euros par personne avec apéro, menu et bouteille de vin, ce restaurant mérite amplement sa 1ere place."

"Mixed feeling... The welcome, which I expected to be warm based on the various comments, was very neutral. Why not. My dish was OK, although I found a few fries that were undercooked. No bread at the table. I am offered a dish for children, which I accept without asking the price (which is my mistake), and I find myself paying 13€ for it, which I find very expensive given the preparation requested (spaghetti and slices of ham)... Yes in the 13€ there was also a scoop of ice cream which I was told about once I was up paying my bill. Scoop of ice cream that I don't take, and no commercial gesture for that. No big mistake, but nothing that makes you want to go back absolutely"
