"When we were breakfast, this inn was noticed, we read the map and looked around when we got a hint from the page – here you eat very well. That's what we wanted to see in the evening. It's a little inconspicuous in the middle of town. No cars are allowed in the pedestrian zone, so we could not see parking nearby. But there should be one's own, then there's a back entrance to the other, no idea. The nearby public parking is very sought after. Around the downtown area there are larger parking spaces outside, here you don't have to pay for anything on Saturday from 13:00, but take a few steps. The peel was delicate, juicy with a crispy, refresh skin. From spices, super taste with a beautiful cumin note. The sauce is very strong in taste for frying sauce, light pepper note and pointed caraway taste. The potato dumpling was filled with bread core, had a firmer consistency as we like it. A really good potato taste was present and there were still small potato sticks with inside. There was nothing to complain about. The supplement salad consisted of red beet, yellow beet, radii, herb salad, tomato and mixed leaf salad. The ingredients all fresh, all made and very tasty. The vinegar oil dressing had a certain amount of sophistication and the acid ratio perfectly matched. This side dish salad was served on a plate. The other side salad was the same and was served in a bowl with tray and potatoes. The country potatoes had a very good, spicy taste, kind of a little taste for paprika. They had been sufficiently supplied with salt. Outside they were really nice crispy and beautifully soft inside. On the table there are middle blankets or runners in red and white with patterns in country style. Opposite the gift there is an image and text with history on the wall. There is the regular table. A few knocks and pictures with old photos decorate the room, all suitable for the guest room. There is a wooden board at the table, there is a pepper mill, a salt shaker, toothpick and the cutlery rolled into red napkins. It can be a bit louder by the regular table. We felt comfortable, and we liked it, 4.5 stars. Cleanliness In the guest room everything was clean. On the men's toilets the usual dust traces in small form. "Today we visited Lauf an der Pegnitz. The marketplace expired in search of a place for lunch. Nothing could convince us. We decided to leave the marketplace and see something outside. On the question whether we can take place in the back room she answered very kindly and it was no problem at all. She handed us the cards, lit the candle and counted us the daily dishes with the price. We were able to look at the map in peace and after a reasonable time, she came to the table and wondered if we had already been found. The drinks came fast and she put them with a nice one, to the table. We could taste a light pepper taste and fresh parsley rounded off the soup. The liver dumpling in a variant we haven't known yet, but very tasty. He was like a semmelknödel and included really nice liver pieces. It was nicely loose, refined with herbs and tasted perfectly. In the soup there were still on the spot garden pores and yellow pupils. The dumpling was still bribed with fresh parsley. Spotzl's supplements salad consisted of various leaf salads, yellow ointments, paprika, radii, radian, rocket, fresh parsley, a slice of cucumber and half a cocktail tomato. The salads were all covered with dressing, which was slightly sweet and had a perfect acidity ratio, tasted very good. On top there was a little white sauce, we would say on yogurt basis. The ingredients were all fresh. At the other plate, the salad was on it, but it didn't bother. Each salad leaf was provided with marinade, but on the plate no dressing was collected, we liked. There was no rocket here, a chicore leaf. Otherwise it was the same salad. The potato salad was made by itself, nicely spicy and refined with onions. He had a nice acid note and we didn't have to choke at all. The two “meat plants” were nicely fluffy, but still had a firmer consistency. Fresh herbs refined these. Season 1a and we thought that discreet mustard was processed. There was also a little tasty, tasty roast sauce. The cook is obviously part of the fact that we always find everything drowned in sauce. Because of us, it should have been more of the delicious sauce. The pommes were of the thinner type, but really nice crispy and still soft inside. They had not been supplied with salt at all in a greasy and impeccable manner. The scavenger was wavy fried, not greasy and the panade nice crispy. From a spicy, it also fits. It's nice here that the ketchup is served in a bowl, we like it very well. Here we would like to try the steaks, the kitchen has it on, 5 stars. Ambiente The assessment here for the ancillary room, the guest room itself we have seen too little, but somehow looked like that. It is an old guest house with tile floor. There is a round wooden cladding made of light wood with patterns in it. Table and chairs also consist of bright wood. On the chairs there are bright fabric cushions and on the tables a red-white carded fabric medium blanket. As decoration on it there is a Christmas glass with tea light. The cutlery is in a jug and the napkins are fanned in red and white with inside. It is not a chi-chi restaurant, but an old Bavarian inn. We liked it and so it is worth 4.5 stars. "Today we have made a day trip to the beautiful city railway on the pegnitz. we wanted to see the industrial museum and then walk a bit through the historic old town. we rented our car, on a paid parking lot and then four hours. After the visit of the museum lasted far over two hours, we had starved so slowly and thought about where we could probably go. the guest house Zwinger-Melber and as there were warm kitchens, we didn't think long and went in. outside among the large sun umbrellas in the beautiful beautiful beer garden, almost all the places were occupied and so we decided to look into a little. the large dining room was not open, safe because outside and in the small dining room so much worked. we took place in the small rustic and very cozy dining room. we were greeted and asked if we wanted the card. Oh yes, we wanted the card, but before we could read it, the day's offer was recommended. as an appetizer a sweet kartoffel mango cold bowl and as a main course pork roast with knödeln for together 7,90Euro. that sound good and we decided to use this menu. we didn't have to read on the map. before we ordered a large dark beer with 0.5 liter and a still water with 0.5 liter. per cost 3.30 euro after a short time came the drinks and then the cold dish. I've never eaten such a suppe before, but I was pleasantly surprised. very refreshing and hearty cost. we did not sit too long before the empty bowl and then after clearing, immediately the guide was brought. tastefully it looked like what was on the teller. two large discs pork with sosty and a huge emptying. a small salad set was on the plate rim. the food was just as delicious as it looked. the frying and the sosse strong, a real joy and plentiful. we were even asked twice if everything is in order and if we need something else. We agreed twice, because everything was more than sufficient. the two employees laughed and apologized because they had not agreed. that was not a problem for us, because we felt very comfortable here. for such a friendly and attentive service there was of course also a generous drink from us. everything in all, a very recommended guest house with original ambiente, a great beer garden, tasty eating, very friendly, fast and attentive service."
