"After a long , tiring day hiking from Hauteluce to the refuge, it was such a relief to arrive to this place. It exceeded my expectations. Everyone eats at 7pm and 7am. The food is first class, and was so happy to have a delicious 3 course meal Soup, chicken and rice and then a bluberry tart. (I think the menu changes) The breakfast had a slection of yoghurt, bread, jams, fruit. Set in a beautiful location, they've created an amazing space on the mountains that is within a short reach by foot or ski lift. Love the outdoor seating of benches and deck chairs looking at the mountains, they have various types of accommodation Teepee, shepherds hut, you can camp and there is a spacious dorm. Toilet/Shower facilities is clean, well maintained and even comes with hot showers but lietrally be mindful to use sparingly. The dorms, are super clean, and equipped with fresh bed and pillow covers. There is sporadic 4G connection if you really need to contact people, they have a hut to store baggage, shoes and charging ports for phones etc. Awesome hosts and great service. Also, you can see Mont Blanc from the refuge, the mountains glow at sunset and at sunrise the sun comes from behind. We all stopped eating our breakfast, and rished outside to see it. After a very lonely few days, hiking the TDS UTMB route solo, this was a perfect ending to stay here. Thank you!"
