"This is a restaurant in a Logis hotel. We've been driving around ten miles of it on the N154 for years, not to realize that there was even a city here! What a mistake! The hotel is a perfectly beautiful place for a stop en...route A block of motel-style rooms (like a campanile in their very nice quiet garden. The restaurant is fabulous! Something more than we usually spend on our route stops, but I'm glad we did. Excellent selection of dishes, well prepared and presented, good wine list. Now firmly on our list of regular stops! Amuse choice of deserts, black fruit plate, red fruit plate, or yellow fruit plate. We chose black and yellow and took a picture (here somewhere). Good selection of single malt in the bar. I say no to ice was easy to explain, we wanted to tap room temperature water, not so much."
