"I had the occasion to be a walk-in diner yesterday, 15 Sep. 2022, at circa 7:00p.m. and ordered a glass of red wine and the warm smoked trout (a standard menu item as my main course. The wine and a large glass of tap water...arrived post haste. The adjacent table (they ordered just before me enjoyed their two-course dinner and left and no sign of mine. Another table had come in and they had, also, been served and were eating their dinner together with a further table. Eventually, the F.o.H. approached and said he would be right back from a visit to the kitchen. Lo and behold, he returned to inform me that they were working on my dinner (which arrived about 8:00p.m and he would not charge me for my dinner which I accepted graciously. I finished my dinner and left without ordering anything else. Subsequent to that, I have suffered all the following day with food poisoning and diarrhoea which, rest assured, is not pleasant particularly as I am chauffeuring a couple of American clients on a tour of Scotland."
