"From the outside this restaurant looked really appealing and way above your normal airport offering. The menu looked good so with 4 hrs waiting for our flight we decided to give it a go. I have no complaints about the food, it was fine.... There...seemed to be 2 sections in the restaurant, one laid up for a full service meal with wine glasses and the other with just water glasses and cutlery. Maybe you need to book for the posh side but we weren't offered it even though it was empty. We were taken to a table for 4 with 2 placing set up the left overs from the last table on the other side. There were other unused tables and I would have said something if I would have realised before we sat down. We waited 15 minutes for any further acknowledgement from any of the staff. We finally ordered, our food arrived in good time. None of the staff were unpleasant, but not attentive in the slightest and seemed to look over us in case we made eye contact and wanted something! The restaurant itself was a mess, the 4 tables around us were not cleared for 2 1/2 hours! The staff seemed to be rushing around looking busy without really doing anything! One poor girl cleared tables at a glacial rate and walked around looking lost for most of the 3 hrs we sat there. I can only hope she seemed new! It seemed like there was no manager as having worked in restaurants for years myself I cannot imagine any of my managers letting a restaurant have half the tables full of leftover food, as it's so unpleasant for customers. We shared 2 appetisers; the plates we ate off were cleared after about 30 minutes but the serving plates were left for about an hour, we even had a fly come and sit with us! Staff walked over the large price of bread in the middle of the tables without picking it up for the whole 3 hrs we were there. The waiter serving the posh side seemed to be working hard and was more than competent. His name was Amauris (he was Cuban, not French, different mentality probably) and he clearly stood out in a positive way over the rest. I wouldn't want to tar everyone with the same brush, credit where credit was due! The setting and the food were fine I would have given a 4, but the service is a shambles!"
