"On our second night, we had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was fantastic. I had the crispy chili beef to start, and I can't recommend it enough! Later, my sister-in-law and I wanted to wrap up the evening with a cocktail. Luke, the bartender, recommended the espresso martini, and I must say, it was delicious! Luke was very friendly and made a real effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
Many of the staff seemed to be long-time friends, which contributed to the warm, welcoming, and entertaining atmosphere. I stayed in the Library room, which was spacious and clean. Just a note—it's situated directly above the bar, so don’t expect complete silence! Personally, I enjoyed the lively sounds of people chatting downstairs.
I also spoke with two other staff members who made an impression on me: Billy, who was delightful to chat with, and another staff member whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, but he checked us in and may have also cooked for us.
I want to extend a huge thank you to all the staff for making our weekend so enjoyable, and let’s not forget their adorable furry friends—the two beautiful chocolate labs!"
