"After a long day exploring the Drenthe (Netherlands) countryside, we crossed the border for a typical German dinner. We were not disappointed.Some might called this place kind of old-fashioned, but I liked it.The service was efficient as well as friendly and quick.The menu offers a number of recurring dishes plus seasonal specialties (our autumn choice was a variety of dishes all based on pumpkin). However, we went for 2 of the standard choices. My wife had fried gold bass in a breadcrumb crust, while I settled for a rump steak. The nice thing with the rump steak is that you can choose each and every side dish separately. Unfortunately I could not get the fresh chanterelle mushrooms that I wanted, but at least the canned variety was available, and it was lovely. Combined with fried onions and almond potato croquettes, it was a great main dish.Fortunately, the restaurant offers plenty of choice as to beers (some nice local ones), and not just German wines which is good.I especially appreciate that the owner of the restaurant, although old and having difficulty walking with 2 crutches, made his rounds to all tables to personally greet everyone, and have a little chat with the regulars. That shows commitment and dedication.Well worth a visit!"

"Ho provato questo ristorante a Meppen insieme a colleghi di lavoro. Locale suggerito da una brochure.Il ristorante si trova al primo posto tra quelli da provare in città. Sicuramente ne è valsa la pena. Vito (il proprietario), ci ha fatto sentire a casa davanti ai piatti della tradizione Italiana. Eccellente anche la carne.Squisito il piatto di "tonnarelli alla carbonara di mare". "Above all: Supertolles ambience, the operators were super friendly and very attentive. We had a table to five and got all the foods in place exactly cooked at the same time. The appetizers were the Knaller, very tasty the Peperoni with Minztzatziki. My lamb dogs were the best I've eaten for 20 years. "wir waren mittags zum pizza essen da und ich bin begeistert: die bedienung war super freundlich und konnte sehr gut auf unsere wünsche eingehen. die menükarte ist übersichtlich und bietet was für jeden geschmack. ich habe mir die scheinbar gängige pizza mit büffelmozarella empfehlen lassen und sie schmeckte ausgezeichnet! man sitzt bequem, die großen fenster laden zum gaffen nach draußen ein und der stil ist maritim. ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten besuch. danke!"

Für mich, der beste griechische Imbiss in Meppen, die neue überdachte und im Winter beheizte Terrasse lädt auch zum Essen vor Ort ein, der Gastraum selber eher nicht, ist halte in typischer Grill, wo man etwas zu Essen holt. Am Wochenende extrem stark frequentiert, daher aber auch alles immer super frisch. Das "kleine" Gyros ist für die meisten Erwachsenen nicht zu schaffen, vielleicht sollte man über die Portionen noch einmal nachdenken. Für einen schnellen Snack zur Mittagszeit allerdings eindeutig zu teuer, Abends aufgrund der schieren Mengen eine Top Empfehlung. Junge Betreiber, immer gut gelaunt und freundlich."

"Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Toiletten und Restaurant sehr gepflegt und das Ambiente gemütlich eingerichtet. Nun zu dem wichtigen Teil.Vorerst haben wir eine Vorspeise bestellt, sehr köstlich und frisch zubereitet. Vor dem Hauptgang, bekommt man einen Salat, wobei mir der hausgemachte Dressing nicht so gefiel, es war ein bisschen scharf und hatte einen Geschmack von Honig, Curry oder Senf(?) Hauptgang war köstlich und das Fleisch sehr zart, nur die sauce zu dem Fleisch ebenfalls ein bisschen schärfer angerichtet was nicht in der Speisekarte stand, aber es war trotzdem sehr sehr lecker. Nachtisch: ebenfalls köstlich.Über dieses Restaurant kann man echt nicht meckern.Wir kommen aufjedenfall mal wieder !!"

"In our estimation, this is truly a 5-star restaurant in all respects: food, wines, ambiance and service. We generally don't eat in the same place two nights in a row, but after such a fabulous dinner the first night, we just had to go back to try other dishes.To start, they serve warm bread with 2 different spreads: a tomato aoli and an herbed cheese. Then a small appetizer about 2 bites in size, but oh so delicious! The first night, we had the carrot curry mouse soup and the potato blini with chanterelles followed by the Meppener Spieß (pork tenderloin) and the saddle of lamb. The preparation and flavors were exquisite! The second night we went a little lighter: I had the Terrine of Salmon and Scallop and hubby had the chicken breast stuffed with olives. Again, the food was just excellent. Their wine list offers a nice variety of fine wines, and by the glass too! The decor is very tasteful, setting the mood for a fine dining experience, including well-selected, beautiful, peaceful music. I would definitely dine here again...and again."

"Premiere, now I'm writing the first short report. But I think it fits well with the gravel in the pits. "Insalata Mista als Vorspeise bestellt, Pizza als Hauptgericht, und vorab einen Aperol Spritz. Leider kam Vorspeisensalat und Pizza zusammen. Der Insalata Mista sehr einfach angerichtet, ein bisschen grüner Salat mit Gurke für 5,50 Euro nicht angemessen. Die Pizza war lecker. Grenzwertig war der Aperol Spritz, dieser war zwar schön angerichtet mit Orangenscheibe, aber da wurde ein Aperol Ersatz Produkt (Im Regal stand Apice von Aldi verwendet geschmacklich ganz anders. Wenn man keinen Aperol im Hause hat darf man das nicht als Aperol verkaufen, oder sollte das sagen (den Chef drauf angesprochen beim bezahlen, aber es wurde nichts dazu gesagt sondern einfach „weggelaechelt“ . Während dem Essen gab es leider keinen Service (der unterhielt sich die ganze Zeit an der Theke , denn zum Essen hätte ich gerne noch was anderes zu trinken bestellt grundsätzlich waren der Chef und der junge Kellner aber freundlich. Nach dem Essen gab es einen Ouzo aufs Haus . Auf dem Bon, auf dem im übrigen Saletinos Grill steht und draussen steht Pizzeria Salentino dran, werden Speisen und Getraenke mit 19 MwSt ausgewiesen obwohl derzeit noch für Speisen 7 gilt."

"Wir waren heute erstmals bei La Cucina in Meppen-Bokeloh, einem Restaurant mit angeschlossenem Hotel (oder umgekehrt). Es liegt im wunderschönen Örtchen Bokeloh in der Nähe des Flusses Hase. Man kann dort auch eine der ältesten Schulen im Emsland besichtigen. Das Drumherum hat viel zu bieten.Beinahe hätten wir volle fünf Sterne vergeben. Denn das Essen war durchaus überzeugend. Die kleinen Pannen am Anfang waren verzeihlich. Wir wurden nämlich nach der Einnahme unserer Plätze erst einmal völlig ignoriert vom Kellner. Ein Paar, welches kurz nach uns kam wurde bedient, bekam Getränke und von uns hatte man keinerlei Notiz genommen. Ich bin dem Kellner dann hinterher und teilte ihm mit, dass wir uns etwas ignoriert vorkommen. Er entschuldigte sich Zigmal und gab bekannt, dass es erst sein zweiter Tag sei. Wir bestellten einen Cappuccino und einen Kakao. Die kamen auch sehr bald. Leider hatte meine Frau ein recht langes Haar im Kakao vorgefunden, weswegen sie ihn zurückgehen ließ. Sie bekam einen neuen Kakao und war damit dann auch zufrieden. Unseren Kellner fragten wir noch nach dem Kuchenbuffet, dazu konnte er (war ja erst sein zweiter Tag) keine Auskunft geben.Ein anderer Kellner klärte uns dann über das tolle Kuchenbuffet auf. 6,90 € zahlen und so viel warme Getränke und Kuchen bekommen, wie man möchte. Das hörte sich zu verlockend an. Der Kuchen sah auch wirklich recht gut aus. Wir entschieden uns jedoch dazu, das Angebot an einem anderen Tag zu nutzen und wandten uns den warmen Speisen zu. Ich bestellte eine vegetarische Pizza und meine Frau Bruschetta. Beide Gerichte waren einwandfrei. Die Pizza hatte einen schönen dünnen Boden und sehr frische Zutaten als Belag. Sehr schmackhaft und sogar recht groß für den Preis von 7,50 €. Somit hatte unser Besuch noch ein gutes Ende gefunden. Schief laufen kann immer mal etwas. Wir hatten jedenfalls einen schönen Nachmittag. Die Toiletten machten ebenfalls einen guten Eindruck, diese sind ebenerdig, wie es sich meiner Meinung nach für einen Inklusionsbetrieb auch gehört. Der Spielplatz sah auch sehr gut aus und ist laut Internetseite barrierearm eingerichtet.Wir empfehlen das Restaurant ganz klar weiter. Das Kuchenbuffet müssen wir unbedingt noch testen."

"Erste mal dort Gewesen nach einer Empfehlung. Preis Leistung stehen nicht im Verhältnis zueinander. Ems Burger viel zu Klein und das Angus Rind zu mager Gewürzt. Burger Brötchen war etwas zu lange im Ofen.Süßkartoffeln gefühlte 100 g mit einem Kräuterquark der irgendwie rot war und nach Nix schmeckte und noch nicht mal für die hälfte der Pommes reichte.Potatoes in Spiralform waren auch zu durch und der dazu Bestellte Ketchup der hat den Namen " Ketchup " garnicht verdient.Angeblich gibts jetzt HEINZ Ketchup doch warum gibt man dann noch die Reste an die zahlende Kundschaft � Will man Sie los werden.Service geht ist Freundlich so sollte es auch sein man siehe die Berufswahl.�.Getränke darf und muss man sich selber Holen was nicht schön ist denn im normalen Restaurant muss ich das ja auch nicht oder ist BURGER CITY ein IMBISS. Schimpft sich Restaurant. Wenn ja wäre das eine sehr hohe Preiskategorie für einen Imbiss.Noch einen Tip : Nicht Jeder ißt seinen Burger mit den Händen....ein Teller wäre schön mit Besteck und Servietten die bei unserem Essen fehlten. Dieses musste auch mein Empfehler Erfahren als er am Tag davor war.Satt sind wir nicht geworden aber Erfahrungen haben wir Gesammelt.Soll heißen wenn wir mit 2 Leuten dort noch mal Essen gehen sollten dann müssten wir mindestens 70-80€ � Bezahlen . Heisst von den bestellten Burgern müssten wir pro Person mindestens 3-4 Bestellen um Satt zu werden.Dafür gehe ich lieber zum grossen M oder zur Schnitzel Welt alleine vom geschmacklichen Aspekt her.Vielleicht wird es ja noch mal Besser."
