"After being rudely awoken at around 6.38 am, by a courier at my front door, within the ensuing minutes thereafter, I had finally ‘got the message’/received a razor....and a copy of a certain EL James ‘novel’.....in the aforementioned package. Post shave, I felt ravenous! WIMPY! I thought and also how I felt I looked without my manly stubble! Morden Wimpy is always consistently good for its food. the place is always clean and tidy; the owner and staff are very nice and fastidious. Service is always very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the fish burger and chips an ideal later afternoon snack, before heading home. Chips here are excellent. If one requires parking, nearby, then take the left turn before Sainsbury’s where there is a two tiered car park. Parking directly out front, isn’t advised, as it’s primarily for taxis."

"I love this pub! Having lived in Wimbledon for nearly 6 years, this is my local and the staff are always super friendly and welcoming (and the service is always second to none)! "we reserved a table well in advance but got a table in an area which was not the best so that was a bit of a disappointment. then we finally ordered starters which came after an hour! the starters were very small. the customer service...was very slow, we were reassured our food would come within a few minutes but it was hours we had to wait. we got our mains after waiting nearly hours! our waiter did not know what vegan was an offered us mutton rolls! they did not understand what vegan was?! there were no apologies or explanation for the cause of such a huge delay with food. everyone in the restaurant was waiting for food. we have never had to wait this long ever. the mains were not very nice the kothi rotti was a disappointment, so was the seafood fried rice (this tasted outdated) and the puttu kothu. we should have been offered something complimentary for the disaster of the evening we had. we should have left after waiting hours for our food. we saw people also leaving as they could no longer wait. when asking for dessert they told us the kitchen had closed all other restaurants ask before closing their kitchen if we require to order anything else. when we asked for dessert the waitress said, you got the food you ordered what more do you want?! the same waitress came and left another tables dirty plates and cutlery on our table, right in front of our face! this place really needs to train their staffs. never been to a place with such bad customer service, food and ambience. when we left the manager didnt even apologise for the delay and just looked the other way, not even goodbye or thank you for visiting although he was standing right by the door. never visiting again."

"I came here for the second time to this charming brasserie. The atmosphere is very eclectic and cozy, with a laid-back and relaxed vibe. The menu is focused on crepes, both savory and sweet, along with some toasted breads. While the menu may be limited, the quality of the food is exceptional. The crepes are delicious and the fillings are absolutely tasty. The portions are generous and offer good value for money. The service is friendly and efficient. "Visited here for the first time recently. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and lots of outdoor space although I didn’t notice any heaters but this was a lunch so not too bad when in the sun. Food (burgers) were OK for 2 of our diners but my burrito bowl was not good at all. The chipotle chicken had no flavour and was as dry as paper and all other ingredients just tasted bland and plasticky. Maybe it was the choice of dish but definitely would not choose this again. The overall feel was good however so maybe a better place for just meet and drink rather than eat ."

"First of all, I would like to say an endless thank you to Andre who has been very kind, accommodating and helpful to us throughout the planning of my son’s 4th birthday at Wacky Warehouse which is located above the Kiss Me Hardy Pub. We hired the Wacky Warehouse for a private 3 hour birthday party and it was the best decision we ever made. Andre was very responsive both in person and on the phone when I had to talk to him about the details of the birthday party. He also came to work even though it was supposed to be his day off on the day of the party to make sure all the things we discussed will be implemented. He even helped us setting up the place and only left when all the guests had their food. I would also like to give a big shout out to Shard who was also been ever so helpful to us throughout the party. She is a lovely, kind lady and always asking us if we needed help. All the guests were super happy especially the children with the party at Wacky Warehouse Colliers Wood. We highly recommend this place to hire for private events especially children’s parties. Once again, thank you very much Andre and Shard"

"I am so disappointed by this industry, I am a regular use of their famous peri peri. eating is always amazing. However, on a regular anesthesia, its delivery process is very poor. they always send the wrong order and how today it is due to the customers. there is a clear lack of customer service and today was the last threat when the person on the phone refuses to recognize his mistake, send a wrong order and instead was said if they don't want it, then send it back also note it as on zomato they have explained that they don't do delivery, where on the leaflet there are clearly mentioned delivery for each order over £9.99 we are very disappointed to do"

"Have to honestly say this was a fantastic evening. From the moment we set foot into the restaurant, the mode and setting was absolutely perfect! Had four wonderful starters which we couldn’t find any fault, followed by one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! My wife had the most ‘juiciest’ grilled chicken. You can tell this restaurant is packing some amazing family secrets to their customer’s tables by the great flavours served up! To end the night was served an amazing slice of chocolate cake and my wife a slice of American style cheesecake, to note after questioning we discovered both was freshly home made! The service couldn’t have been any better and we both can’t wait for our next visit back! A massive thank you to the ‘Stage Door Steakhouse’ family!! Wish you all the best and success!!"

"I absolutely adore this restaurant and am delighted to support my local independent eatery. I visited for dinner last night, marking my third time dining here. The owner greeted us warmly and we received exceptional service throughout the evening. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented, which is saying a lot coming from someone who enjoys cooking at home. The menu offers something for everyone, catering to all appetites and dietary restrictions. I highly recommend the pan-fried sea bass with rice and crispy onions - it was simply divine. The french fries with za'atar seasoning and the Sage tea were also delightful. I am already looking forward to my next visit."

"Very welcoming, food freshly cooked and was delicious. My friends had Chicken schnitzel and pork ribs in whiskey sauce, 2 pieces of each, My pork escalope in red sauce with mushrooms was small in comparison a single piece, so maybe try to keep 'parity ' between the dish sizes. However it was delicious. There was no sides mentioned on the menu to accompany the main dish, i.e. potato or vegetables/salad, so we opted for chips, they were delicious but to tempt us back they need to add some choices. We 'd have liked a Romanian beer or ale but Stella or Heineken was offered with one other but I can 't remember the name, but it wasn 't a national drink. I hope that the management take on board my suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The ladies loo was immaculate. We felt very safe in respect of hygiene standards."

"We went for lunch. This is a no frills cafe. The service was cheery, the menu is simple and varied and there is a good daily menu too. There was a choice of three chicken dishes, a pork dish, chilli, meatballs and a pasta dish; also the usual baked potatoes and paninis. All looked delicious. We paid £18 for the two of us including two soft drinks. Looks like a good hidey hole for Sunday breakfast. We need more of these independent cafes round London, as the food actually does taste and look homemade! Bottom end of Wimbledon Park Station."

"We admittedly did come in late, well an hour before closing, we were the only diners. There was no greeting, the menus were plonked on the table we felt pressured to order. We chose a not cheap bottle of white wine which also got plonked on the table, unopened no wine cooler. We ordered starters mains were quite shocked when EVERYTHING turned up at the same time. It was as if they couldn't wait to get us out so they could go home. When we questioned this we got attitude. The food was ok but nothing special. In the middle of the starter/main course we got the bill slapped down on the table. Hurry up and get out they seemed to say! We finished our food, downed our expensive wine asked for the toilet. There isn't one, unless you go outside to the public loos. I do NOT recommend this restaurant at all. They are surly, unfriendly expensive. I know I left my sunglasses on the table as we were rushed out, but when we went back the next day they denied all knowledge of them. Avoid at all cost!"

"Mary's Garden is a cozy restaurant located near Nelson Hospital, towards Wimbledon Chase. Booking a table is easy and highly recommended. Upon arrival, Mary greeted us warmly and we chose our table. The menu is extensive and with Mary's guidance, we shared 3 starters along with Japanese beer and green tea. The starters were freshly prepared, piping hot, and delicious, perfect for sharing. We also enjoyed a side of Kimchi, which had a good kick to it. The main courses were served as they were cooked, so be prepared to eat at different times. Each dish was beautifully presented and incredibly tasty, making it one of the best Japanese meals we've had in a while. We are already planning to return to try more dishes, as are our friends. Overall, Mary's Garden offers delicious food in a relaxed and informal setting, highly recommended."

"I should note that I have not dined in at Bad Egg before. Instead, my friends and I decided to order take-out through Deliveroo. Despite this unconventional choice, we still had the opportunity to try their food, so it still counts, right? I ordered the Cheeseburger Hash and a Dulce de Leche milkshake, while my friends tried a variety of dishes including the Bad Egg Burger, Korean Pulled Pork Burger, Chilaquiles, Chicken and Anchovy Salad, Fried Chicken Burger, and the Cheeseburger. Essentially, we tried almost 90% of the menu. My Cheeseburger Hash was a generous portion filled with pickles, mustard, burger pieces, and topped with cheese and a fried egg. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it was too much for me to finish on my own, so my friends helped out. Overall, we had a great experience."

"My friend and I often book in for the Wingfield’s afternoon tea when lucky enough to be drawn out of the public or LTA ballots and attend the Championships. We did this yesterday [day one, 2023 tournament]. We had pre booked so were able to skip a quickly gathering queue up the familiar steps. We checked in [about the third lot of people there] and were told where our table was and led to it. There was an issue with table positioning which, after an elongated discussion with three different people, was resolved to our acceptance. After a short wait, the orders were taken and a few minutes later, our afternoon tea arrived. It had all that was on the menu, though I didn’t like the fact that we both paid the price for the afternoon tea but the 4 cakes listed on the menu were “shared” between the two at the table. I believe if you pay full price each, you should have the full quota of cakes each. Additionally, the menu includes strawberries and cream, though when I queried where they were [as they weren’t brought with the rest of the stuff], the young waitress didn’t think they were part of the afternoon tea. I put her right and they were duly brought to the table. The cost of the AT has gone up by just short of 50% since 2018. Whilst recognising everything is going up and what we all have to endure in the shops in the modern day, I feel nowadays when leaving the restaurant that for the price, it’s not bringing as much feel good and satisfaction as it used to do. This was the most disappointing aspect of what was otherwise a great day at The Championships."
