"Situated on Avenue de Strasbourg, this restaurant is a little way out of the city centre, yet the meal was very much worth the trip. Although they do have salads and fish on their menu, it isn't exactly a restaurant for vegetarians. That aside, the food is fantastic.We took the menu at 25euros, which includes a starter, main and dessert. The servings were generous, and I highly recommend the braised lamb with mashed potato. The meat falls off the bone and melts in the mouth. My partner took a steak with blue cheese sauce, which was another 10/10. The profiteroles for dessert were the most popular choice. There is also a menu choice of starter+main or main+dessert for 21.50, but it was worth taking a complete menu.The service was professional, if a little bit on the slower side at the beginning. Understandable, since our group of 9 diners showed up on a Friday night. The place sits about 100 and it was almost packed. Our meals all arrived at the same time, for every single course, which is very much appreciated.Drinks were a little pricey, but the wine list was nicely balanced, including wines from Portugal, Australia and Chile on top of the French fare.We'll definitely return for a special occasion!"
