"I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is one of the best pubs in all of Britain (and the Commonwealth!). The beer is excellent and unique, and the atmosphere is incredibly vibrant and welcoming. The staff are attentive and genuinely helpful, creating a friendly environment that is complemented by the lovely local regulars. "Staff were really nice and hard working and the food was great. It was extremely busy so the toilets were in a bad mess and full of flies. Sadly some of the clientele frequenting the once fine establishment looked like they had been heavily drinking and/or on some other drugs… having prebooked I would have thought we’d get a nice corner that we reserved but we were sadly herded like cattle to the slaughter in the middle of what felt like the slaughter, it was every man woman child cow and moose for himself at that stage…"

"This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. I think the other reviewers must be quite mistaken or are judging the delivery service rather than the food itself. Personally, I have never had an issue with the delivery—it always arrives hot, fresh, and so delicious. Unfortunately, I’ve moved away and I really miss this place!"
