"We often go to this agriturismo about 20 mins. from Sondrio in Valtellina. Matteo and his family always serve excellent food and they're really nice. They always come up with new recipes to throw in the mix. If you go, try the tagliatelle (fettuccine) with poison ivy sauce (yes, for real), my favorite, or the ravioli di magro with grated lemon peel. Matteo also produces his own Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo (red wine) which is a must. Santa Maria is perched at about 900 mts asl and you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley and its mountains."
