"Don't go there. There were two of us and we sat at a free table, a woman who spoke French told us that she would bring us the menus. However, the young man waiter came and sharply reprimanded us for not having asked to be seated. His reaction was disproportionate and unpleasant, which made us uncomfortable from the start. We chose to stay despite this bad first impression, but we should have left then. Our dishes, gnocchi and tuna tartare, were far from up to par. Not only did the dishes lack accompaniments, but their quality left much to be desired. The tuna tartare seemed not to be fresh at all, which made our dining experience particularly unpleasant. The service was not up to par either. The young male waiter remained unpleasant throughout our meal, he should not be working in customer contact. The woman who spoke French was more cordial. Furthermore, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty, the tables were not cleared, which gave an impression of disorganization and lack of efficiency. So our experience at the restaurant was a real disappointment. We would have liked to have a pleasant time around a good meal, but the attitudes of the staff, the mediocre quality of the dishes and the overall lack of professionalism got the better of this experience. We strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone based on our experience and other comments that support this."

"This is the best place we've eaten in Italy (so far), period. My boyfriend and I have visited Lake Garda, Milan, Verona, Venice, Lucca, and Florence- this place tops it all. A winning combination of lively service and food quality flavors makes this restaurant a 5-star experience. We actually ate dinner here twice on our 3 night stay in Cinque Terre. That's how much we liked it- we started and ended our trip with what we considered the best. Our server/host, Antonio is quite the character- he goes from dead panning jokes to whistling tunes to fist-pumping to the church bells. His recommendations are always spot on, and his service was very professional and whimsical at the same time. He definitely contributed in large part to the enjoyment of our meal. Now, the food- by God, you will have a great meal here no matter what you order, but here is what we recommend: Fried.stuffed.anchovies...you're welcome. Ciak (seafood) spaghetti...they put their name on it- eat it! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was fantastic with a generous amount of seafood. Fritto misto...a lot of fishies died for your pleasure. Creme caramel...yum! We ordered a bottle of Cinque Terre DOC white wine on both nights and both were equally tasty and complemented the seafood dishes perfectly. Definitely make reservations (especially during high season) or be prepared to show up at first seating (7pm). Ciak, you've ruined me for all other restaurants in Italia!"
